Release Review: Return the Butler, VT in Every Little Thing by Marie Force

When two people meet and sparks fly, things get a little heated in Butler, Vermont. Return to the small town as two people try to figure out that falling in love is worth the risk to their battered hearts.

My Rating for Every Little Thing: 4.5 stars and Recommended Read

When Grayson Coleman moves back to Butler, Vermont after years of working as a high-powered attorney in Boston, he is burnt out and trying to figure out his options. What he didn’t expect is to be charmed by a pint size cutie named Simone and feel the pull to Simone’s mother, Emma Mulvaney over the holidays. She is sweet, beautiful and has a shyness that just tugs at his heart. After helping to raise his seven siblings, he wasn’t interested in a family just yet but there is something to Emma and Simone that just draws him to them.

Emma is enjoying her time in Butler and loves that her daughter is enjoying herself. What Emma didn’t expect is to feel the sparks of something between her and one of the Abbott cousins, Grayson. She finds him entertaining, he’s good to Simone and she can talk to him about anything. What she didn’t anticipate was how much she enjoyed herself with him and can’t wait to go out with him. But when dinner turns into something more, can Emma and Grayson let themselves see where it will go or will this holiday week flirtation fizzle out?

I got to admit I was absolutely thrilled to see that this author is returning to Butler, Vermont and continuing the series on her own. I loved how the author uses song titles for her titles of the books and the characters are so much fun to read and devour. I absolutely love the Abbott family and in this book, we see a bit more of Grayson’s family which opens a whole new set of people for the matchmakers in the Abbott family. It was nice to revisit with them and see all my favorite characters again in EVERY LITTLE THING. Even though this is book one of the Butler, VT series, it continues where the last book in the Green Mountain series, Ain’t She Sweet, left off. The author does an amazing job in keeping the story going and I loved how seamless this fits right in the series. The story flows smoothly and kept my attention till the very end. But it’s the characters that are the star of this series. They are captivating, entertaining and keep the reader glued to the pages till the very end. The author does a marvelous job in capturing the diverse cast of characters just perfectly and this is a big cast of characters to enjoy. Plus we meet some new ones that are just as interesting and I can’t wait to see where this author goes next for the series.

We met Grayson and Emma in the last book and I loved that we got to see those sparks fly completely in their own book. Grayson is jaded and tired, hoping that small town life as a lawyer will be better for him than staying in the high powered law firm he was in for years. Emma is a strong woman who is so gun shy over relationships; she is amazed that just being around Grayson puts her at ease. I loved these two right off the bat. They had sparks flying right from the start and even though we knew a little about Grayson’s background and family, I didn’t know much about Emma and Simone. The author does a great job in keeping the characters true to themselves and Simone is a hoot. I loved her old soul outlook and her infectious excitement in being in Vermont as well as trying new things. What got to me was Emma’s back-story which is heartbreaking yet also made me root for her to get her own chance at happy ever after. She definitely deserved to find love and happiness, if not with Grayson but with someone else. Luckily Grayson is just the right guy to steal her heart and hold onto it tight. The characters are engaging, multidimensional and diverse. The author does a great job in capturing all of their unique personalities and I loved catching up with all the beloved characters again in EVERY LITTLE THING, even Fred, the Moose, who is by far my favorite character ever since the first book.

EVERY LITTLE THING is a great romance that will tease you, thrill you and steal your heart along the way. With the right amount of romance, passion and more, the author does an amazing job with the lush background of Vermont to steal the reader away for hours on end and captivate them till the last page is read. We get a glimpse of who may be next in the crosshairs of the Abbott matchmakers and I am gleeful after a few hints through the Green Mountain series off just who that may be. If you enjoy tender romance, sizzling passion and a writer that delivers an engaging story then you will love this series. I do highly recommend reading it from the beginning to get a sense of who everyone is and how past couples met & fell in love. Another winner for author Marie Force and I am really hoping we don’t wait long for the next installment in the Butler, Vermont series.

Welcome author Anita Philmar and her hero, John Bristol Smith

Please give a warm welcome to John Bristol Smith from A Cowboy’s Pleasure by Anita Philmar today as we sit down and see what makes him tick.

Q: So tell us about yourself. What got you in the cross-hairs for your author?

Oh, Anita, she fell in love with me while writing A Country Doctor’s Bride, which is not out yet because she stopped to write A Cowboy’s Pleasure. You see she liked the idea of me a bad boy. In truth, I was simply looking for a job. Can I help it if that job is to give a woman pleasure?

Q: What was it that drew you to your mate?  Don’t have a mate. Don’t want one at the moment, but I sure could fall for someone like Tess Van Pelt. Luck for me her husband doesn’t mind sharing so we can have some real fun.

Q: What’s your favorite type of naughty fun?  Before meeting the Van Pelts, I would have said taking my love outside in an open field, but the Van Pelts have shown me how much fun a threesome can be. Can’t wait until I’m invited back to do it again.

Q: Boxers, briefs or Commando on a man? commando – boxers and brief were really used much in the 1860s and being rather on the poor side of the fence. I usually go without.

Q: If a woman wants to seduce you, what's one sure fire trick they can do to seduce you? Just reach for the buttons of her dress and show me the sweet swell of her breasts. I want to release my holy poker and nail her right then and there.

Q: What is the one place on a woman's body that you know will drive them wild-in and out of bed?  Oh, women are very sensual beings. I love kissing them from tip of their nose to the toes, with a few detours along the way. I enjoy sucking on their nipples, clit and tasting their sweet cream.

Q: What was one of the most embarrassing things your author did to you in A Cowboy’s Pleasure?  Had me rush the moment with Tess. I mean with the lady lying in front of me naked, how could I not dive for a taste of her pussy and lick her moist center.

Q: Anything else you would like to add? Some might say to take a job and pleasure women is no job at all. I disagree, I might love what I’m doing but I also have to make sure the other people involve have fun too. Otherwise, I’m failing at giving them what they want. No every man can give a woman what she wants when she wants it.

Thank you John Bristol Smith for joining us on 'Meet the Character' day here at Dawn’s Reading Nook Blog. You can find all of Anita Philmar books at Amazon – here is her amazon author page http://www.amazon.com/Anita-Philmar/e/B002BMBE8C

A Cowboy’s Pleasure

Naked Bluff, Texas series
Book 5

Blurb–

Having traveled across the country to escape the war between the states, John Bristol Smith needs a job, any job.
Told of a potential job, he arrives at the interview with high expectation. Nothing, however, in his life prepared him for the nature of this assignment. Tess Van Pelt wants excitement and she means to have it.
Her husband is more than willing to pay for whatever she wants and she wants John.
Is this a job or a fantasy?

Excerpt:

“Then tell him straight out what you’re after.” Gab carried the tray over to the table in front of the couch where his wife sat. He handed her a glass then walked the other drink to John.
“Shouldn’t we, at least, give him a little background on us first?” She queried.
After taking the glass, John stepped to a wingback chair and perched on the edge. “I’m sure whatever type of job you’re offering, I’ll be more than willing to work for you.”
Gab chuckled, “You’re right. Most men would, but this requires you not discuss anything that happens within these walls with anyone.”
“Can you do that, John?” Mrs. Van Pelt sipped her drink and her eyes undress him.
Uncomfortable with her probing inspection, he glanced at her husband. “I have no one to tell. Remember, I’m new in town.”
“Yes, you are a God sent. Tess, here, is getting a little restless. She’s used to getting what she wants right away. And well, I’m afraid I’ve kept her waiting too long.” Gab turned to his wife and smiled. “I must admit, now that you are here, I believe the plan has more merit than I previously gave it.”
“See, I told you. It’ll be just like old times.” Tess patted the spot next to her on the couch and her husband sat beside her.
Sorting through every possible job he could envision, John struggled to come up with the task they wanted to achieve. Mrs. Van Pelt seemed excited by the possibility of him working with them. So perhaps, they liked him and would want him to hire on for a few months, maybe even longer.
“Then I guess we better see if John is open to the idea of making love to you,” Gab said and lifted his glass. “So what do you say?”

Excerpt
She was practically naked—the last pastel pink scrap of lace hid nothing. He could see, touch, taste everything. And yet there was something incredibly intimate and romantic about the slide of his fingers beneath the waistband of her panties, the slow drift of lace and fingertips over her thighs, the feel of his breath against her center.

She was desperately aroused, screamingly eager, wet and hot and throbbing for him. Her clit was puckered tight and the muscles inside her were clenched with anticipation.

He let her panties slither to her ankles, clasped the cheeks of her butt, and pressed his scorching mouth hard and without warning against her wet sex. His lips were apart and he sucked her inside his mouth—the whole plump folded core of her—and his tongue probed unerringly to her clitoris. The feel of his mouth was the most incredible pressure she had ever experienced. The fast, sure flicking of his tongue inside the full suckling of his lips almost drove her out of her mind. She had not known there was pleasure like this to be had.

Her whole body was flushed with longing, her breath was growing irregular, and her pulse was breakdancing all over the place. She could feel the tantalizing edges of orgasm fluttering around the limits of her excitement. But she needed more. Something to tip her over that exquisite, elusive precipice.

“More...” she gasped, clutching at his shoulders as he pressed his face between her thighs, maintaining her pleasure. But even as she begged, she had no idea how he could deliver what she needed. His ministrations were already utterly and deliciously absorbing.

She clung to him, a single drop of perspiration trickling between her engorged breasts as she gasped her need.

“Please…” The word was thin and strangled. She wasn’t even sure what she was asking for.

He slid his right hand from her buttocks around her hip and across her thigh. With nothing more than a gesture, he commanded her thighs apart and, lost in a maelstrom of lust, she mindlessly acquiesced. She felt utterly wanton standing before this man, legs spread while he thrilled her with his talented mouth, his hand stroking relentlessly up and down her thighs.

His fingers traveled lightly, teasingly, sometimes grazing the trimmed hair at her center, occasionally brushing the fleshy entrance to her feminine core.

She could barely catch her breath now and she felt dizzy. Her throat was clamped shut and the razzle-dazzle of dancing lights behind her eyelids told her she was close to losing consciousness. She was no longer holding his shoulders for balance and encouragement. Instead, her fingers dug into his skin for support, and as a desperate plea for him to take her where she needed to go.

“Please, Levi, please...”

He didn’t hesitate. On the next upstroke between her thighs, he drove his finger deep into her sex. Plunging the digit once, twice, thrice into her soaked and scorching channel.

And then she flew apart. The orgasm rocketed through her like a searing star shower. There was no room for thought. Her release was pure sensation, so intense it was almost painful, so complete it was practically spiritual. The spasms rocked the depths of her very being and even as they began to subside, she knew what Levi had given her was a gift both precious and rare, and that the experience had changed her so profoundly there was no return.

Gently, lovingly, he helped her to the bed, easing her quaking body down on the silken covers, sliding beside her and gathering her in his arms. Slowly, as though from far, far away, she came back to herself. First she noticed the warmth of his body in the cool air of the room, the scuff his body hair against her smooth skin, the soothing glide of his fingertips over her quivering arm and her hip. His heartbeat beneath her ear was a perfect counterpoint to the rain thrumming against the window. His breath tasted faintly of mint and wine and her own musk. Her breathing slowed to match his lungs’ steady rhythm and her trembling began to abate.

“You look beautiful there,” he murmured against her hair. “Your golden hair spread all across the bed, your skin glowing, your lips swollen...”

His hands emphasized his words, stroking her body more intently as he spoke. Of their own volition, her fingers followed suit, trailing over his skin, mindlessly exploring the bulges and hollows of his body. He shivered when her short fingernails skimmed his nipple, gasped when she trailed her index finger down his hip toward the waistband of his briefs.

There was no mistaking his arousal. The thick length of him spasmed every time her hand drew close, and there was a tell-tale spot of dampness near the tip. Enjoying his responses, she teasingly drew her fingers around his belly and down the edges of his jutting hipbones, across the elastic of his underwear and up and down the arrow of hair between his navel and the stretch of blue fabric. He hissed and growled and squirmed under her ministrations.

“You are going to drive me completely insane,” he ground out, but he made no move to hurry her or change her agenda. She could see the pulse leaping at his throat, the desperate bob of his Adam’s apple, the sheen of sweat glistening on his brow.

She smiled saccharine sweetly at him and deliberately brushed her hand over the bulge in his pants.

“Really?” Cara said. She did it again. “I’m so sorry...”

“Funny, Cara, you don’t sound very sorry.”

Was he actually panting?

She quirked an eyebrow, her gaze all delighted mischief. “It’s hard to be sorry when there’s this tempting package right in front of me, just begging to be unwrapped.”

“If you’d like to unwrap it, Cara, be my guest.”

“Oh, I’ll unwrap it all right, but I like to open my presents in my own sweet time. I enjoy prolonging the anticipation.”

She scuttled up his body and swallowed his groan in her mouth from her position beside him. The taste of him was complex and addictive. His lips were clever and intuitive. His tongue was thorough and tempting. Cara felt as though she could stay here, kissing like this, lost in Levi forever.

Talking Fairy Tales with author Jamieson Wolf

For the Love of Fairy Tales

I’ve always loved fairy tales.

They were the stuff that my childhood was built on. Hans Christian Anderson and The Brothers Grimm were my favourites. They managed to teach something in the story, hold a gem of knowledge within them that you could pluck out and hold to your heart, should you be brave enough.

The stories contained in When Love Blooms started in a peculiar way. I had only meant to write one short story and leave it at that. I wrote it when my marriage was failing.

We had grown so far apart and I was convinced that love didn’t exist anymore. So, doing what writers do, I turned to the written word to bring myself comfort. The story that came out

During the break up of my marriage, my ex had convinced me that I was ugly, that I was inhuman and not deserving of love. So when I wrote that first story, I wrote about a maiden that hid a powerful secret, one that she was ashamed of and wanted to hide.

I felt like that maiden, wanting to hide from the world instead of engaging with it. After that story was written, I felt better, more at peace with myself and who I was. I figured that if one story could help, more could help even further.

So I resolved to write about all different kinds of love: self-love, interracial love, love from afar, gay and lesbian love. Even the love of someone departed that stayed with you.

The collection was further shaped by two men I had dated throughout the writing of it. I thought it was done three years ago when I put out the first edition but this year, I wrote three new short stories set in the small village of Inglewood Hamlet rounding out the collection to fourteen stories. I wanted to put out a second edition of When Love Blooms so that people could read the entire collection.

It was a joy to be back and to finish off the collection with the love that I have found with my partner Michael. He taught me what real love was and I’m forever grateful to him

You can get a copy of When Love Blooms in ebook or paperback here:

And you can find me at www.jamiesonwolf.com

Here’s that first fairy tale, titled The Maiden’s Secret. It was the one that started it all…

Once upon a time, there was young maiden. She was very astute young maiden who had lots of things to say about everyone that lived in the small village of Inglewood Hamlet, which was nestled inside the walls of a great kingdom.

Every day on her way to market, she would run into Mafalda Hopplekirk, who was sleeping with the baker while already wed to the candle stick maker. Ickabod Ingleberry was sleeping with one of the scullery maids and even though he was betrothed to Paxton Plumwood, who was the daughter of the richest family in town.

Everyone had secrets, the Maiden thought. However, it took a special person to keep these secrets. She knew a lot about the people in her small hamlet, but she thought of herself as a keeper of secrets.

She would gather her knowledge of other people as if she was collecting trinkets or stamps. Secrets held power. She knew this more than anyone else in the village, for she had the most difficult secret of all.

Every morning, before the sun would rise above the stone walls of the kingdom’s barriers, she would wander out of her small cottage and go to the water’s edge that ran along her property line. Every house and cottage was close to a body of water; water brought life.

The Maiden knew this better than anyone. Each morning she would slip off her shift and slid slowly into the water. Once inside the waters depth’s, she would only have to wait for a moment before the change began. It was no different today as she slipped into the water, letting its coldness wake her.

It always pained her when the change came; no matter how many times her body transformed itself. Closing her eyes she tried to will the pain away as her legs began to fuse together, as scales began to grow on her skin.

Soon, the water was filled with sparkling light, the magic that changed her creating a physical manifestation. Though her change filled her body with pain, it never failed to fill her with awe. -  it was beautiful as well.
When the pain left her, she looked down into the water. The light of her magic was gone now. The only evidence that remained was the long tail of a fish, its scales winking at her from underneath the water.

She laid on her back in the water and let her tail splash about. She always felt more whole when she was her true self. She did not mind walking on two legs like the rest of the mortals, but always felt freer in the water.
Closing her eyes, the Maiden made a deep dive and came back up, the water splashing like diamonds around her. When she opened her eyes, she spotted a man looking at her, standing on the water’s edge.
The Maiden experienced a moment of panic. She had been so busy keeping everyone else’s secret that she hadn’t done enough to protect her own. She stared at the man with eyes that were wide with fear. She knew that he recognized her, that he knew who she was.

“It’s you.” He said.

She recognized him too; he was the blacksmith’s son and his name was James Ingleton. She knew that he had a kind heart and a bright spirit.

The Maiden watched with growing panic as James began to undress. Once he was completely unclothed, he walked into the water towards her. “No,” she said. “Stay back please.” She swam a little further out into the water. “Please stay away.”

“I know what you are.” James said.

The Maiden’s eyes widened when lights began to bubble under the water where his feet were. As he made his way further into the water, the light around him intensified. When he was finally in front of her, the light faded. She looked down at the curving, graceful tail topped with fluttering fins.

“You’re like me,” the Maiden whispered. Her heart beat loudly in her chest and she wondered whether its vibrations could be felt by all of the other creatures that lived in the water.
“I am.”
“I thought I was the only one.” She looked into his deep greenish blue eyes and found herself looking into the sea. Instead of being turbulent, the sea that moved inside of him was calm and serene.

“So did I,” he said, “Until I saw you change.”

“I’m sorry,” she said. “I’m hideous.”

“That’s not true,” James replied. He moved closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. “I think that every part of you is beautiful.” He kissed her softly on her lips and the Maiden experienced a rush of heat that ran along her skin.

“I’ve been waiting my whole life for you,” he said.

When he kissed her again, she gave in this time, letting the pleasure run through her body. As they kissed, neither of them was aware of the light that began to bloom around them underneath the water.

They were both completely unaware of the transformation that was coming over their bodies, as their fish tails and scales faded away, leaving only mortal legs.

Instead, the Maiden had a random thought. ‘Let other people keep their secrets,’ she thought. ‘I will take love over secrets any day.’

Still wrapped in James’ embrace, the Maiden gave in completely to the power of love and let go of all of the secrets that she had held.

Taking a deep breath, she released them into the water -  like a dream where they would flow away from her into the great beyond.

So the story goes…

Get Off My Case And a Giveaway

Don't forget to enter the worldwide contest for a print copy of 'Get Off my Case' at the end of the post.

Talking with author Lisa Oliver

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Hello and thank you for hosting me on your blog today.  There’s not much to tell to be honest.  I am a ‘mature’ woman, with grown children and grandchildren.  I have been writing for about seventeen years and originally wrote non-fiction books about any topics I found interesting.  I started writing fiction in November 2013 and haven’t stopped since.  I love drinking tea, eating chocolate and my little dog Lulu who shares my office with me every day.

What is your book(s) about?

I write M/M paranormal romances – usually wolf shifters, although I throw in other shifter types, vampires and the Fae, when the story calls for it.  All of my books center on one specific couple and follows them until they reach their HEA.  I currently have four series of books, so there are a variety of different types of stories for readers to choose from.

If you could be any paranormal creature what would you be?

I would love to be a shifter – the ability to turn into a predatory animal, and have increased senses and strength could come in handy sometimes – especially when I am at the supermarket.

Are any of your characters like you?

All of my main characters are men, so the obvious answer would be no.  But my friend, who has read all of my books, claims that a lot of the dialogue has things in it she can imagine me saying.  My books are a way of expressing my personal viewpoints on things like cheating (there are none in my books), surviving abuse and things like that, so in that respect I would have to say yes.

Is there anything you would tell aspiring writers?

Write every day – even if it’s 100 words, write every day.  That’s the only way your book will ever be finished.

If you write a series do you reread your previous books before you begin the new one?

Yes I do.  Because I have four different series running at the moment, and they are all different, I re-read the previous books to remind myself of the characters, the mood of the story and how I felt when I was writing the earlier ones.  I hope that helps to bring some continuity to my stories.

Is there anything you wish to say to your readers?

My readers are the best people in the whole world.  Recently I had some personal problems and I had to postpone the launch of one of my books.  I was worried my readers would be disappointed, but the amount of support and encouragement I got via Facebook and emails has been overwhelming.  Although I write my stories for me, I am always conscious of never letting my readers down.  They are an amazing group of people and I thank them every day for being so supportive.

I’m always looking for book recommendations. What books have you been reading? Would you recommend them?

OMG, how long have you got?  I have literally dozens of favorite authors, all in the M/M niche.  Just recently I have been reading books by Stormy Glenn, Olivia Black and Jessie G.  All three of these authors appeal to me because they write intense emotions, and riveting story lines, apparently effortlessly and I would recommend any book by all three authors, to anyone that likes the M/M genre.

What do readers have to look forward to in the future from you?

More of the same lol.  By now Book 6 of the Cloverleah Pack should be published, or very close.  The second book in the Stockton Wolves series is next – that focuses on Sin, the one human I have written about so far.  Book 5 of the Bound and Bonded series is also underway and I have another idea for my Alpha and Omega series that I am trying to find the time to explore.  So lots of new books coming up in the near future.

What has been the defining moment in your career that made you think “Yes, I am now a writer!”?

I remember publishing The Reluctant Wolf, the first book in the Cloverleah Pack, back in March last year.  I hadn’t done any promotion for it, it was a totally new genre for me, and yet within days I had readers getting in touch with me and letting me know how much they loved my story.  I have always been a writer, but in that moment I was a writer with readers, and that made my day.

The first 20,000 words of this story were published as a free read for the Goodreads MMRomance Group Love's Landscapes Project. 49,000 words have been added to make this into the book my characters wanted it to be.
Shane West was used to being the only wolf shifter at the Stockton Police Department. His enhanced senses helped him do his job efficiently and he prided himself on keeping control of his animal instincts. Gay from the first day he'd shifted, he also expected to live his long life alone, and provided it meant that he didn't have to come into contact with any of his ex-pack, he told himself he was happy. And he was. Until Dimitri Polst was assigned as his new partner.

Confirmed ladies man, Dimitri Polst knew Shane from before he'd ever shifted into his wolf form.  Two years older and from the same pack, Dimitri had made it his teenage mission to bring as much pain and humiliation to pretty-boy Shane as possible. But years later, he searched for that pretty boy, now all grown up, with a completely different mission in mind.

Being fated mates was hard enough, but when one man is straight and the other one has no reason to trust, then sparks are bound to fly.  Add in a serial killer who is making inroads into the gay population and a possible shifter involvement, and Shane and Dimitri have a lot of thing to overcome before they get their HEA.

Categories:  Erotica, Gay Fiction, M/M Romance, Paranormal, Romance

Excerpt:
By the time Dimitri had got to the back door of the club he knew his wolf was close to the surface.  He could feel his eyes changing and the hair on his arms start to tingle.  It was only through sheer force of will that he stopped the change completely.  Must not shift in front of humans, he tried to remind himself as he searched the dark alley, sniffing for his mate’s unique scent.  There, deep in the shadows.  The young blond was wrapped around Shane’s waist and neck like he belonged there.
Growling loudly Dimitri strode over to where the two men were hidden, his hands changing into claws as he itched to grab the little interloper and tear his body to inch sized bloody pieces.  He couldn’t and wouldn’t hurt his mate, but he could and definitely would shred the little blond until he wasn’t a threat to Dimitri’s mating again.
“Dimitri, stop damn it!” Shane called out in a low voice as he carefully wound the young blond’s arms from his neck.  “This is not what you think.”
Dimitri stopped himself, just, and watched as Shane spoke in a low voice in CJ’s ear and then gave him some money.  CJ looked up at Dimitri and scowled at him and then took off back into the club.  Shane flung out his arm and grabbed Dimitri by his belt loops and smashed him into the same wall he had been leaning on while he was entangled in his blond.  But Shane’s eyes weren’t full of passion, Dimitri noticed.  His mate was pissed off with him, big time.
“You just cost me some valuable information, fuck wit.  Now what the hell did you think you were doing?”  Shane snarled at him in a low voice.
“Is that how you get all of your information, detective,” Dimitri snarled right back. “By giving sexual favors to your tipsters?”  Fuck, with Shane so close Dimitri could barely breathe.  His cock was so hard in his jeans that it hurt and he couldn’t break his stare with his mate.  Man, this guy was awesome when he was angry.
Shane tipped his head to the side and then took in a deep breath, obviously smelling Dimitri’s arousal.  For a moment he looked confused, but that expression was gone in an instant and Shane’s angry gaze was back again.  He leaned in flush against Dimitri’s body and growled softly in his ear, “CJ is an informant of mine.  He’s been beaten before for talking to the wrong people and I don’t want to see my friend in hospital.  We act like a hookup so he will be safe, asshole.  So don’t go judging what you don’t understand.”
“But you’ve fucked him, right?”  Dimitri regretted the words the instant they came out of his mouth as he watched a flash of pure murderous intent race across his mate’s hard face.
“Not that it’s any of your business, fuckwit, but I have never done anything sexually with CJ or any of my informants.  Unlike you, I have standards.”  Dimitri knew Shane was referring to the fact that when Dimitri was still in school he used to fuck anything in a skirt regardless of who it was.  With his jock reputation and good looks he never lacked for girls willing to lift those skirts and give him what he wanted.
But right now Dimitri didn’t care that Shane was angry with him, or that he might have fucked up an investigation.  Shane was leaning on him, chest to chest, but had kept his groin area away from Dimitri.  And Dimitri was so turned on he couldn’t think.  He needed friction on his cock and he needed it now.  He reached out and grabbed Shane by his hips and pulled the man’s groin into his.  Both men groaned as their dual erections nudged each other and Dimitri rocked into Shane looking for more.
“What the fuck do you think you are doing?” Shane snarled.  Dimitri could see Shane’s eyes were blown with lust and the man was panting softly.  Against his cock, Shane’s sizable erection nudged his and for the first time in his life Dimitri wanted to see another man’s cock.  But not just any cock - Shane’s.
“I haven’t got a clue,” Dimitri said honestly, his own deep voice raspy with lust, “But I know I like it.”
