Sunday Series Spotlight~ The Texas Series by RJ Scott/Win an Amazon Gift card

Check out this wonderful series from author RJ Scott....

Book One: The Heart of Texas
Contemporary M/M

Riley Hayes, the playboy of the Hayes family, is a young man who seems to have it all: money, a career he loves, and his pick of beautiful women. His father, CEO of HayesOil, passes control of the corporation to his two sons; but a stipulation is attached to Riley's portion. Concerned about Riley's lack of maturity, his father requires that Riley 'marry and stay married for one year to someone he loves'.
Angered by the requirement, Riley seeks a means of father's stipulation. Blackmailing Jack Campbell into marrying him "for love" suits Riley's purpose. There is no mention in his father's documents that the marriage had to be with a woman and Jack Campbell is the son of Riley Senior's arch rival. Win win.

Riley marries Jack and abruptly his entire world is turned inside out. Riley hadn't counted on the fact that Jack Campbell, quiet and unassuming rancher, is a force of nature in his own right.

This is a story of murder, deceit, the struggle for power, lust and love, the sprawling life of a rancher and the whirlwind existence of a playboy. But under and through it all, as Riley learns over the months, this is a tale about family and everything that that word means.

Book Two: Texas Winter

Riley’s past comes back to haunt him both professionally and personally.
His dead brother left more than just bitter memories for Riley to deal with. The FBI get involved and suddenly it is more than his good name that is on the line. Jack is always there for him but how much more can Riley’s husband reasonably be able to understand?

Especially when Riley finds out on his delayed honeymoon that he has a eight year old daughter he never knew existed…

Book Three: Texas Heat
Contemporary M/M

Riley and Jack Campbell-Hayes are in a good place. Jack is expanding the DD and training quarter horses, Riley is so close to his first ethical based contract that he can almost taste it and Hayley is nearly ten and happy as all out.

Jack hires Robbie, a man recovering from a great loss, to be his right hand man. Meanwhile Riley's flamboyant mischievous photographer friend, Eli, decides the DD is the perfect backdrop for a cowboy themed model shoot. Eli has secrets not even Riley knows about but despite what he is hiding he falls in lust with Robbie at first sight. Everyone except Robbie can see how perfect Eli would be for him.

What happens when secrets spill and lies are discovered? And just how far will Riley and Jack go to play matchmaker?

Against the backdrop of twenty half naked models on DD land, and in the midst of fighting the oil establishment that just won't give Riley a chance, Texas Heat is the story of one hot summer in Texas with a Gay Rodeo, a bar fight at the Rusty Nail, humor, angst and a love between two men that just grows stronger every day.

Jack and Riley Campbell-Hayes begin a journey that will change their lives forever.

Add a small four year old boy in foster care into the mix and suddenly things become a whole lot more complicated.

Sean and Eden are struggling, Beth and Steve have decisions to make. Then, to add to the stress, Tom Stafford, the cop from the original murder case, arrives at CH Consulting with Lisa in tow.

Could this blast from the past threaten everything Jack and Riley hold dear? Anything was possible, when they find out Riley’s sister-in-law has admitted to the cop exactly what she did three years ago.

I have not as yet read any of the Texas books. I need to do that. So for right now, my favorite are Sam and Bob from The end Street Detective Agency.

I have most of RJ's books & she's a really good author. She got me hooked with Texas Winter's free sample & I immediately bought Heart of Texas & Texas Winter and read them back to back. The whole Texas series is great & Heart of Texas is my fav cause it's where Jack & Riley meet & the magic begins. I'm glad you're giving RJ the recognition she deserves! Thx, Kendra kjpattersonrn@yahoo.com

I've read several of RJ's books but have never read the Texas series, which is funny since I live in Texas. I just read the descriptions of the books listed above and I think I've found a new series. I can hardly wait. :)

I do adore RJ's books. I have only read the first one in this series for some reason (probably money!). They are on my TBR list.

I LOVE this series, and Jack & Riley, aka Het Boy! They are all wonderful stories, but I think Texas Winter is my favorite. We meet 8-year-old Haley in that story.

But my all-time favorite RJ Scott story is The Christmas Throwaway.
