Welcome Breathless Press author Erzabet Bishop today

Talking with author Erzabet Bishop today....

Can you please tell us about your latest/upcoming book(s)?

Hi Dawn and thanks for having me. I'm Erzabet Bishop and my latest book is called Holidays in Hell. It's about an incubus who has one more soul to claim for his contract…but he falls for her instead.

How did you come with the idea for this story?

The idea originally came to me for an anthology topic. Christmas and kink. You just can't get better than that for subject matter. Think about all the naughty ideas you can come up with for garlands and candy canes. I'll say no more…

Who is your ultimate "book boy/girlfriend"? You know, that hottie you read about and drool over.

Every single one. Lol. I have to fall a little in love with the characters of each book I read or I  just put it down and walk away.

Who is your Celebrity crush? And what would you do if you ever meet them?

That's a good question. I so rarely watch television. Maybe the cast from American Horror Story. Now that would me amazing. So would meeting Laura Antoniou or Anne Rice.

If you could collaborate with another author on a secret project, who would you pick to work with and why?

I have never collaborated save for group projects for an anthology or a box set. It would be amazing to work with New York Times or USA Today bestselling authors to see how they handle things differently…It just so happens I am involved with a group right now with some of those very traits so I'll let you know what I find out.

Now check out Erzabet's latest release, Holidays in Hell

Holidays in Hell
Publisher: Breathless Press
Author: Erzabet Bishop
Heat level: 4
Pages: 54 approximately
Blurb:
Deck the halls with all things kinky. Jonas is an incubus with an incurable lust for gingerbread and holiday lights. When he finds himself falling for Holly Pendleton, the woman he has marked as the final soul to end his contract, he faces a heart wrenching decision: take what he needs to feed his hunger or sacrifice himself for the woman who has lit his own demonic soul on fire. Tied up with red ribbons, Holly just might be Jonas's deepest Christmas wish and the one woman who could set him free.
Excerpt:
"It's twisted." Mallory sniped, her tone coolly disapproving. Grabbing Jonas by the arm, they trudged down the main street of the Old Towne shopping district, dodging tourists and rabid consumers on a mission.
"What?"
"You’ve lost your mind completely. Here? At a shopping mall? Seriously?"
"Why not? It's not like they'll even notice." Jonas glanced in Mallory's direction and stared after the white coat of a woman he'd just seen in the crowd. It was strange, but it almost seemed like she was following them. Jonas didn't care. He stuffed the panic down and resumed his vigil. Somewhere out there was his last conquest. He just had to find her.
Holiday music piped through the air and the smell of chestnuts roasting wafted toward the crowd. The Carver Hills Old Towne Winter Carnival was in full force and it warmed Jonas’s soul to see it. Throwing caution to the wind, he let out another burst of energy and sent it spiraling into the crowd. What could it hurt? He was here on a shopping expedition of his own, and it wasn’t for the latest transforming doll or gadget. Nope. Lust was his mission. He was hungry.
"Because..." Mallory's voice trailed off as she patted the squirming dog in her purse. Terrance yipped and gave an indignant growl. Stuffed into a red sweater, the little black Chihuahua looked absolutely miserable.
"Oh my God, Jonas. Why do you have to always pick the toughest crowd? It's a needle in a haystack."
“You’re entitled to your opinion. I, for one, am going to check things out and find something, or someone, to eat." Jonas's lips curved up in a smile at Mallory's irritated and completely unladylike snort.
"Mallory, if I want a cheeseburger I'll go to a drive-through. I want something a little more substantial. And that means I'm going to have to work for it, okay?"
She stared at him, a mutinous look on her face. Terrance yipped and she reached down absently to pet him. He shook, trying to curl himself into a ball inside Mallory's large gold purse but having a hard time.
"You'd better get him in out of the cold. The little guy's shaking like a leaf."
"He's fine," she snapped.
"Okay. Don't say I didn't warn you when his little bladder decides it's time to void all over your cell."
"Ugh! Jonas. That's disgusting. Terrence wouldn't do that, would you, honey?" Mallory reached down and gave the dog a kiss on the top of his smooth black head.
The dog whined and shook.
"Go on, Mal. I'll be fine." Please. So I can get down to business.
He knew what he wanted. Lust was, after all, his personal vice of the seven deadlies. It really didn't matter the form. It was usually sex that got people into trouble, but any old lust would do. And right now, he wanted to indulge in a little proclivity of his own. If Mallory would leave him the hell alone, that is. The need was there and it was clawing at his gut relentlessly. But so was the desire to revel in the holidays. If things went badly, it would be his last ride on the bus, so to speak. He didn’t want to miss a thing.
This was his most favorite time of year. Christmas. Twinkling lights. Tacky reindeer yard ornaments. Tinsel. Garlands. Ah, the things you could do with a garland. A little tricky rope work and a willing partner and you had yourself your own little bondage Christmas carol. A happy smile tilted up the corner of his mouth. It was funny as Hell, really. A lust demon with a fetish for Christmas ornaments.

Discover Lousy Magnet by Sally Max

Check out author Sally Max's newest book and her FIRST M/M Story, Lousy Magnet. I couldn't wait to sit down with this author and have her answer some of my questions....*rubs hands gleefully*

Can you please tell us about your latest/upcoming book(s)?

My latest release is Lousy Magnet, a fun spaceship romp. Lousy Magnet is my first standalone M/M story to be published. My first M/M tale was entitled The Thing about being a Werewolf was in the Ad-dick-tion Anthology Volume 3, also published by Breathless Press.

Lousy Magnet

A fledgling romance separated by over 790 million miles isn't Lee's worst problem. His best friend turned secret lover wants to keep their relationship hidden. On a surprise visit home to mars, can Lee convince his boyfriend that he is worth taking a chance on?

Lee and Clint haven't seen each other in over two years. Ever since Clint was deployed to Saturn's moon Titan, their communication consisted of short emails and spotty voice messages.

The last leave home didn't leave good memories. Culminating in a confused and livid family, and the relationship remaining concealed.

This time can Lee and Clint keep their hands off each other long enough to solve their festering issues?  Or will the past replay itself and Lee will be left broken-hearted and alone... again.

How did you come with the idea for this story?

The idea for Lousy Magnet actually was based on an anthology call that I saw online. The publisher wanted to have a M/M anthology based on men in the service. This included armed forces, police, firemen, paramedics, etc. After reading a M/F anthology that was based off a similar concept, I really wanted to take that concept and take it in another direction. That's when I thought of space exploration, and how about having a man come home from leave from outer space. How would that be the same, how would that be different than someone coming home in today's time?

Who is your ultimate "book boy/girlfriend"? You know, that hottie you read about and drool over.

I can't think of anyone in particular that has stayed with me from a book. However, I really like the non-Alpha male leading men in books. The quirky, nerdy guy who is handsome in his own way, caring and sweet. He is the guy that I remember long after reading the book.

Who is your Celebrity crush? And what would you do if you ever meet them?

Oh my! I have several celebrity crushes. I really like Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. He is just manly and yummy! I think I would literally make the noise (squee) and at least try and shake his hand! (I could get dirty with him anytime. ** wink **)

If you could collaborate with another author on a secret project, who would you pick to work with and why?

This is a really interesting question! To be honest, I would love to collaborate with any other author, as long as they had a similar work ethic to mine, and we could work well together. I find that collaboration often keeps me motivated and excited on a project.

Now check out Lousy Magnet, a Futuristic M/M story that will knock your socks off....

A fun spaceship romp!

Teaser excerpt:

"It's been too long." Dolly smiled at him across the table. "What has it been, two years?" She must have realized the last time they had seen each other happened to be the same day her brother had shipped out. Glancing down, as if suddenly aware she had brought up a touchy subject, she fidgeted. Lee hadn't wanted him to go.
Twenty-two months, two weeks, a handful of days, but who's counting—
"Something like that," Lee tried to smile for her but couldn't make it go to his eyes. Instead, he just settled for a half-crooked grin that he hoped she would read as sincere. "Are you in town long?"
"You want to get rid of me?" Dolly teased, placing her hand on his.
Looking down at her small pixie-like hands, Lee realized they were just smaller versions of Clint's hands. The nail beds were the same size and shape. Even her cuticles were identical. Clint's hands were probably calloused and rough from his time away. When Lee looked up at her face, all he could see were Clint's eyes. How didn't he know that they had the same eyes? The blue of Earth's oceans matched in those two small globes. A pang of emotion swept over him and knotted in his stomach. He couldn't identify what it was. Regret? Longing? Sorrow?
"What's wrong?" Her soft southern drawl that she would never be rid of seeped out of her words. The same drawl that flowed from Clint's tongue every time they video messaged.
Tears sprang to his eyes. Lee would never call himself an emotional man, but at that second in time, he missed Clint with body, heart, soul, mind—every bit of his being. It went beyond reason, as the only thing he longed for in the universe was a hug from his fair-haired officer.
"You miss him that much, don't you?" Dolly asked as though reading his mind.
Lee coughed and blinked furiously. "Excuse me?"
"Lee Louis Love, I've known you since you couldn't pronounce my last name correctly and called me Dolly Wafers instead of Waters. We went to first grade together. I can tell how much you miss him." She started playing with her fork, then added softly, "We all do."
"I..." Lee didn't know what to say. Dolly was one of his best friends growing up, but he had never truly discussed his relationships with her. Clint and his affair needed to remain a secret. "So, what brings you to the Moon? I was a little surprised to hear from you."
"Truthfully?" Dolly asked. The waitress returned with Dolly's Coke and a Moon brand beer that was fairly common around the dome.
"Of course."  Lee said.
"You."
A bit of beer went down the wrong pipe, and Lee started coughing. His face felt warm, as he hacked into his hand.
"Excuse me?" he croaked out between sputters.
"I know you are in love with Clint."

Meet Mia Epsilon and her hero, Robin Bates from Wedding Belle Blues

Please give a warm welcome to Robin Bates from Wedding Belle Blues by Mia Epsilon today as we sit down and see what makes him/her tick.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not saving (the world, clients, your mate)?

Ride my motorcycle. There's nothing like having the wind in your face and open road in front of you or the power riding a bike gives you with the freedom you feel taking a curve.

What is it about your love interest (Anna) that makes you crazy in a good way?

God, so many things. She has this long blonde hair that sort of flutters when she talks and makes me want to just run my hands through it and these huge brown eyes that usually tell everything she thinks. Her smile lights up a room and she has this sort of shy sense of humor. But really, it's this ratty blue nightshirt she wears, just seeing her in it makes me absolutely crazy to get her horizontal.

Do you sometimes want to strangle your writer? Thrash her/him to within an inch of their life? Make them do the stupid crap they makes you do?

Yeah, I do. I mean get this: Anna and I are having dinner with her mom and the waitress decides to flirt with me. Not bad, but enough to be noticeable when I see Anna start gritting her teeth and muttering under her breath. Then the waitress bends down right in front of me so I have a whole face full of boobs. I mean, any other time I would have sort of enjoyed the view, politely told her no, I had an even better view sitting beside me and then teased Anna out of her green eyed jealous thing, but there's Anna's Mom sitting right across from me. Her mom, geeze. How could this writer do this to me? But the worst thing the author did was show Anna photos of some British dude named Benedict Cucumber or something like that. Now Anna gets all mooneye over detective shows and British accents. Like it wasn't bad enough I have to compete with her obsession over that bumbling bow tie wearing Doctor Who guy.

Favorite food?

Pizza though after eating it for a while it makes you sort of sick of it. I love a great burger, medium rare, on a toasted bun with mayo, ketchup and garlic. Anna makes these incredible ginger cookies I could eat by the handfuls.

Tell me a little bit about your world. What are your greatest challenges in that world?

I just graduated with double majors (business and elementary education, talk about different worlds) and have started my first teaching job. I think I should be committed for wanting to teach six and seven year olds when the noise level reaches ear drum split heights or when I have to get up at OMG o'clock for morning bus duty. I also tutor student athletes who need extra help off the playing field so I get to go to a lot of college and some pro games for free. Then there's Adam, my best guy friend, several fellow bike riders, and Anna. There's always Anna.

The greatest challenges right now besides paying off student loans, balancing work and tutoring, and riding and watching games with Adam are how the hell I'm going to stop Anna from marrying Doug Dufuss. Yeah, that's not his real name, but that's who he is: a dufuss for not seeing what a wonderful woman Anna is. And his mother, God, she makes Attila the Hun look tame. Not that I can't handle either one of them, I just wish Anna could see them for what they really are instead of believing all people have some good in them.

Describe yourself in four words.

Just a normal guy

What do you do for a living?

Well, like I said, I'm a teacher, first grade to be precise. I love it, even when I think I should be locked up in the mental ward in all the chaos. I see all these little brains just waiting to expand and grow and be filled with knowledge, but the thing is I want to learn from them, too. We're going to have a great year these kids and me.

What do you fear the most?

That Anna is really going to marry Doug Dufuss. I'm okay if we have to stay friends, just I don't want some other guy, especially one who doesn't deserve her, sleeping with her every night and seeing that ratty nightshirt or worse, what's under the nightshirt. I don't want to lose my best friend.

What's a girl to do when she begins to realize the perfect life she envisioned is all a lie?

As the wedding date nears and plans shift into high gear, Robin and Anna grow closer and not just as friends. Each must decide what the perfect life truly means while trying to negotiate the maze of wedding plans, secrets, and hidden motives. Will someone be left singing the blues?

EXCERPT:

"Chasing you would be a wasted effort"

Anna slammed the lid on his hand. "What do you mean? I'm not worth the chase?"

"Hey, starving teacher here." He knocked on the inside of the box and glared at her. "And don't be ridiculous. Of course you're worth a chase, but even I can recognize a no win situation regardless if I can't fully give up on it or you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

The liquid blue fire in his eyes singed her as he spoke. "I didn't give the let's-forget-this-ever-happened-and-just-be-friends speech. I didn't stay too afraid to see where our relationship might have gone. No win situation."

"I thought...but you never said...I mean we'd..."

He just stared at her, face unmoving, his chest rising and falling as his breaths increased. He was, she realized, getting angrier by the second.

She swallowed and tried to find words, any words, to defuse the tension. "I couldn't bear to think of losing you as my friend. We did the best thing for us."

"We did the best thing for you."

"But you...you agreed with me. You said you didn't want to risk our friendship either."

"What the hell could I say?" He shot to his feet, knocking the pizza box to the floor. "You didn't give me a choice. Either be your friend, only your friend, or leave your life."

"I never said we couldn't be friends or you had to leave my life." She whispered the words. Yet it had been close.

"Even now you won't face it." He muttered a curse which shocked her with the anger behind it. "Will you? You won't admit maybe we could have—"

"I faced it the morning after. I'm not an idiot, Robin. When you date a woman, it's like your skydiving adventures. You have a thrill, anything goes, and it's awesome and you're on the high of it all. Then you land and it's over. You never talk to the woman again, let alone have a friendship with her. I didn't want our friendship to be over. I still don't. I can't give more than I am. I can't."

"Why, Anna?" He stopped right in front of her, hands on his hips balled into fists. "Why can't you give more? Because of Doug Dufuss?"
"No. Because I can't just have sex with you and then watch you leave!"

My Rating: 3.5 Stars

Reagan is the Fae Knight who keeps her Princess safe from harm. Duty and honor has been her mission in life but when she meets Ceri, she finds herself drawn to the royal princess even as it is forbidden.  As a child of the Fae goddess of war, Regan finds herself torn in two even as she falls for Ceridwen. But an enemy has Ceri in its sight and it is up to Reagan to keep her safe but what happens when Regan’s heart gets involved even as she fights to save Ceri from harm.

This is the first book I have read from Brantwijn Serrah and I got to admit GOBLIN FIRES hit all my love buttons. Fae characters, sexy scenes and a fast paced storyline that leaves you clamoring for more. The Fae are ruthless, intriguing and captivating and I love anything I can get my hands on to read. This author delivers a fast paced story that leaves you wanting more. A story of magic, duty, honor and love, Ms. Serrah delivers a story that captures your heart without you even knowing it. The world building this author does is amazing. I loved that the author slowly gave out tidbits of the world and not information dumped on the reader. That made the story line so much better in my opinion.

Meet Regan, A Fae Knight who has fallen in love with her princess, Ceridwen. But as a child of the Goddess of War, it is forbidden to love the princess except no one has bothered to tell that to Regan’s heart. I love, love, love Regan. Her devotion to her princess is outstanding, the love she feels for her is heart meltingly awesome and the author does a great job in creating her as a well rounded character. I have to admit, I normally do not read F/F stories but this one just drew me in right from the beginning. Regan and Ceri are both well written and very enjoyable characters. The author does a great job in capturing their inner most secrets and desires perfectly on the pages of GOBLIN FIRES.

If you enjoy the world of the Fae, simmering sexual tension and more then you just might enjoy GOBLIN FIRES, a story that will leave you left wanting more. Ms. Serrah is one author I am eager to read more of and can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for her readers. Get ready for a story that will knock your socks off and steal your heart.
