My Personal Review for Wolfman 4: Salvation by Brannan Black

The first time I picked up one of Brannan Black's Wolfman Stories, I was hooked. The writing, the characters, the sheer imaginative storyline-*sighs gustily in remembrance* It was pure heaven. Now book four is here and I got to say, The author delivers all that and a bag of chips. Get ready for a wild and wicked ride as Salvation delivers another knock out of the park for this author.

The world has been decimated by a killer virus that has killed billions and for the survivors, the world gets even more chaotic as the males who survived the first initial virus finds that they are now Wolfmen, feral beasts, determined to survive at any cost to themselves to to anyone else-human or otherwise.

Daniel is finally getting himself settled in Mace's Pack when he finds himself knee deep in danger. From Mace's pack, Rabids, Post traumatic Stress Disorder and the threat of losing Mace weighs heavily on his mind and his heart. A man could not get a break even if he begged for one. Daniel is at his breaking point and it will take one thing to get him to either leave Mace forever or finally figure out where he needs to be-right by Mace's side.

Brannan Black delivers one wild and turbulent ride with the latest installment in the acclaimed Wolfman series. Full of twists and turns, new faces amid old ones and hot sex scenes that leave you aching, this author pulls out all the stops and delivers a story that will have you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next. The writing is tight, storyline flows swift and smoothly and the characters are absolutely delightful. Full of layers, the reader learns new things about a few of the main characters and I was delighted to see them all grow with each story.

Daniel is a smart ass, who always seems to have one foot in the grave when ever he makes a smart ass comment-which  is often. *grins* I adore reading a character who takes no shit from anyone yet finds a way to show his mate-an alpha male no less- the submission he needs...to a degree. Daniel is still trying to get a handle on the whole wolfman dominance/submission aspect and between that and other issues, Daniel is about to fracture apart. It will take a strong man...or in this case, wolfman....to help Daniel figure out how to accept everything in order to have the one true thing he desires the most-Mace's love.

Then there is Mace. *swoons* I got to admit, when Mace walks on thepage, you sit up, take notice and bare your neck in submission. He is that sexy and pure alpha. I love how these two main characters try to figure out how to make a relationship work for them and for the pack. The author does a great job in showing these two characters vulnerabilities amid the pages. It made the entire story more believable and enjoyable.

Salvation picks up right after Judgment so I highly recommend you read these in order to get the full understanding of the storyline. Brannan Black delivers a scorching hot story that leaves you breathless in the end. I just hope we won't have to wait long for next Mace and Daniel fix.

My rating for Wolfman 4: Salvation: 5 Stars and a recommended read
