Cover Reveal for Melting Into You

Check out the smokin' hot cover for Cassandra Carr's newest book, Melting Into You.

Blurb:  Seth Mason's life as a macaroni and cheese food truck owner in Austin, Texas, is pretty good, except for one thing: he'd like to find a man to share that life with. As part of an organization Seth founded, he donates leftovers to the local homeless shelter, and meets Ben, a new employee. He's a preppy guy, and very much not Seth's usual type, but the attraction is strong and not going away.

Ben's just moved to Austin from Connecticut to take a job as a case manager at the Austin City Mission, the first time he's left home and family. But only a short time after he starts work, he meets a man who, though he looks like an extra in a surfing movie, intrigues him. He's hardly seen what life in Austin has to offer, and yet finds he wants to discover that with Seth's help.

The passion burns hot between them--hotter even than Austin in the dog days of summer, and neither man can deny it. As they grow closer, both must decide if they have the necessary ingredients for lasting love, or if the relationship will go up in smoke.

Author bio
Cassandra Carr is a multi-award winning romance writer. When not writing she enjoys watching hockey and hanging out online. Cassandra's books have won numerous "Best Book Of" awards and her novella Unexpected Top was nominated in the E-book Erotic Romance category of RT's Reviewers' Choice Awards.

She thinks the best part of being a writer is how she writes about love and sex while most others struggle with daily commutes, micro-managing bosses and cranky co-workers. Her inspiration comes from everywhere, but she'd particularly like to thank the Buffalo Sabres, the hockey team near and dear to her heart.

Welcome Margie Church today

Please give a warm welcome to my friend and talented author, Margie Church.

To get us started can you tell us a little about what you are working on or have coming out?
I'm writing Love on the Airwaves, which is a fantastic MM erotic romance. It's about a voice-over actor and a school teacher. Opposites attract in this story. Stiegen's huge dollop of celebrity lifestyle is balanced with Porter's very grounded, laidback perspective. I've written about 60% of the book. My characters have threatened to find another author if I don't get this baby finished pronto!

Other things? The re-release of WET from Sizzler Editions is still promised this month. Deep Enough to Bleed, an amazing New Adult novel will be out from Tirgearr Publishing in February 2014. The Camera Never Lies and Coming Back for Drew (both MM) from Ellora's Cave should be out toward the end of the first quarter 2014.

I'm so anxious to get my backlist healthy again! I can't thank these amazing publishers enough for giving me the nod.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Manicures – the gel polishes are fabulous. Reading the daily newspaper. I actually get up earlier so I have enough time to read before I go to work.

Name one thing readers would be surprised to know about you.
I did not like living in a big family at all.

How do you get yourself in the mood to write?
I sit at the keyboard. Period. A blank screen and a keyboard are the keys to the playground for me.

If someone hasn't read any of your work, what book would you recommend that they start with and why?
Wet. It's M/F so it's very approachable from the traditional reader perspective. It's very erotic but nothing outrageous. There're strong emotional ties between Noah and Reagan – you'll know it's a romance. It's funny at times, poignant at others – the little boy in the story cracks me up.

Coffee, tea or other drink to get you moving in the morning?
Eight cups of black coffee, please!

If you had a reporter follow you around for the day, what would the readers get to see in your daily schedule?
An early rise and commute to the nuclear power plant. My day is filled with putting out the site's version of the daily e-newsletter, videos, meetings, and burning brain cells on learning about the nuclear business. It's fast-paced, varied and challenging. After work, it's family time with dinner, homework, scouts, school projects, chores and errands. I try to squeeze in a couple hours of email, blogging and author promotions. Sometimes I get some actual writing done, but I generally have to save up the big writing push for the weekend. I cap off my day with Days of Our Lives and usually hit the sack by 10:00 p.m. Thrilling, eh?

The 18th Floor
The Enhanced Version
Genre: BDSM erotic romance
Publisher: Sizzler Editions
Available at Amazon

Alexa Robbins is so consumed by her career, the only sex she has is listening to her nymphomaniac neighbors go at it. When Sebastian Law discovers her in the eighteenth floor conference room early one morning, the table becomes a pallet for making one of her fantasies come true. Will he enjoy her extensive repertoire?

On the outside, Sebastian appears a buttoned-up, well-dressed, techno geek. Inside, he's a Dom with a hearty appetite for all types of carnal pleasures. He risks alienating Alexa by revealing his true nature, but he won't keep the secret for long.

Together, they explore all the things that turn them on. And discover whether they're a perfect match for life beyond the 18th Floor.

(This edition features 25% more new content. If it's possible for Alexa and her delicious Dom, Sebastian, to get kinkier, they did.)

Adult Excerpt:
Alexa's high heels clicking against the concrete created a sharp contrast to the muffled thump of Curt's rubber-soled shoes the next morning. As usual, the security guard escorted her into the building at six-thirty.
Alexa pressed number eighteen on the elevator pad. "See you tomorrow, Curt."
"Sure. Have a good one." Grinning, he gave her a two-finger salute.
The door slid shut and began its ascent. She sipped her vanilla latte with its extra shot of espresso, hoping the highly caffeinated brew would kick-start her brain and her ambition. Stepping into the carpeted hallway on the eighteenth floor, Alexa noticed another familiar person. Sebastian Law. She chewed on her lip, thinking about the powerfully built, mocha-skinned man who made her want to do naughty things to him whenever their paths crossed. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to pay much attention to her.
Starting up an office romance wasn't on her short list of wise career moves, but she'd spent plenty of time daydreaming about what was under the buttoned up exterior Sebastian cultivated with such care. Sebastian, or Sebi, his close friends called him, favored wearing dress slacks, long sleeved shirts, suspenders, and ties. The description was laughable until she saw how well he filled out his clothes. He walked the halls looking like a living GQ cover model five days a week. Tailored shirts clung to his broad-shouldered torso, and hinted of a well-toned body. And his ass looked so sweet. She was guilty as charged of frequently staring at his gorgeous rear as he walked down the hall. Some days it was all Alexa could do to keep from reaching out and caressing him as they passed in the hall.
Her nipples hardened thinking about the rest of his body. She guessed Sebastian was a few years older. As the company's lead technology contractor, Sebi's responsibilities matched his serious expression. But when he smiled . . . watching his lush lips part into a breathtaking grin distracted Alexa more times than she cared to admit. His mouth frequently became the object of her attention instead of the words he spoke. More than once, he'd had to repeat himself because of her lack of concentration.
Oh, I was concentrating all right—on what it would feel like to kiss you until you lost all your buttoned up control and fucked me right on the eighteenth floor conference table.
She reached the conference room at the conclusion of that thought. Her breath hitched in her throat. There won't be anyone around for another hour. She'd been coming in early long enough to know.
Alexa couldn't resist walking inside. The room temperature was much cooler than the hallway. She left the lights off and walked to the large oval table. Running her hand ran along the smooth top sent shivers up her spine.
What would mahogany feel like against my naked back?
The window blinds were wide open.
Anyone could watch us.
She closed her eyes and let the fantasy bloom in her sex-starved body until a groan left her lips and her pussy ached for relief.

Description:
Dating Todd “Pretty” Carty was a trailblazing, headline-grabbing ride that shocked and divided a team, a sport and a nation. While controversy ruled, our feelings exploded and we couldn’t deny the desire that sizzled between us. Nothing, however, was easy outside the bedroom. Not when my world-class, fearless athlete wanted to shout from Everest that he was in love with another man.

But laying my heart on the line and having my picture dominating the papers was worth it. Everything about Todd turned me on. His bold hockey skills, his courageous attitude and the way he melted in my arms when I kissed him. I melted too, because he knew how to press my buttons, remind me of the man I used to be and take me to those places where ecstasy ruled.

The world might have trouble accepting us, but we’d committed to each other, mind, body and soul, and nothing could change that.

Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains explicit sex scenes and/or situations and adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.

Teaser Excerpt:
Excerpt #1 - Mild

Finally I came to the last picture. It was another of Gareth and Joel, and one I’d captured spontaneously although the viewer could be mistaken for thinking it was staged. It replicated a famous WW2 picture of a GI kissing a girl in Times Square, tipping her back and devouring her mouth in the most unchaste of ways. My picture had been taken on New Year’s Eve when we’d been out having fun. At the stroke of midnight, Joel had grabbed Gareth, dropped him over his arm and kissed him. Camera always at the ready, I’d captured the shot—ticker tape fluttering around them, people celebrating, lights and noise bursting from the frame. But the real beauty was how they were totally lost in each other, oblivious to everything else. The kiss transported them to their own perfect time and place—a whole year of fun to look forward to, a whole previous year of wondrous times to look back on.

A flush of envy washed over me. It often did when I looked at that shot. “So that’s it,” I said, clearing my throat. “My exhibition is a collection of portraits and landscapes, places I enjoy and people who have stood by me. I’m thrilled the curators at Theodore Gallery think enough of my work to want to show it to the world.”

“You mean other than on billboards and magazines.” He set his bottle on the table.

I laughed. “Yep, other than billboards and magazines. That’s when I’m being told what to take shots of instead of choosing my own subject.” Suddenly my words caught in my throat. “I mean, not that I wouldn’t, I mean, not that I wouldn’t want to take shots of you, obviously, that was—”

It was his turn to laugh now. “I know what you mean, don’t stress.”

His body nudged mine as his chest rose and fell. I quickly shut down the window and flipped the screen shut, tugged out the memory stick and set it and the laptop on the coffee table.

I sat back and stared at my knees. The exhibition and Armani should be the main things on my mind right now. But how could they be when Todd Carty was sitting next to me with his big hand resting only an inch from mine?

The pale fuzz of his sun-bleached hairs skimming up the back of his wrist and onto his forearm made me want to stroke, kiss, lick them. An image of doing so rushed through my mind. Damn, a wave of heat to my cock warned me of an impending erection. I was such a fool. Why was I even here, torturing myself like this?

“Matthew,” Todd said.

I turned, saw his keen, intelligent eyes gazing straight into mine. He was so close I could make out every whisker on his chin, the delicate shadow within the upper indent of his lip and each individual eyelash. “What?” I managed, tensing my stomach and resisting the urge to reach for him, kiss him. Just grab him and make him mine for a few sweeter than sweet seconds. Hell to the consequences. Hell to the black eye I would no doubt get.

“Matthew, I…” He shook his head and his eyes narrowed. He lifted his hand and cupped my cheek in his palm, his fingertips grazing my earlobe and his arm resting down the column of my neck and onto my collarbone. Jaw set tight he said, “Fuck, I want to kiss you.”

“What?”

“I want to kiss you, right here, right now,” he said in a strained, dark voice.

“But, I…?”

“Please, don’t question it.” He leaned closer still. So close his lips were just a hairsbreadth from mine. “It’s just, I’ve been thinking about it so much, and I have to do it, now.”

His mouth connected with mine, big firm lips pressing with both hesitation and determination. It was a close-mouthed peck, not wild, not full of movement, certainly no tongues, but one of the most sensual kisses of my life.
