Blurb:
After surviving the vacation from hell in Beacon Bayou, the Force Recon team finds themselves one relationship, one fiancé, one child, and one marriage more than before they left Camp Lejeune for leave. But before they have a chance to process how a few days so completely changed their lives, they’re called away to Somalia, a hot bed of pirate activity. Their mission--rescue an embedded female marine taken prisoner.

Being a female marine isn’t easy for Allison Blaise. Choosing a life that's all about proving herself worthy of being one of the few and the proud right alongside her male counterparts, Alli volunteers for every special assignment that comes down the pipeline.  This time that "go-to" attitude has landed her a stay as a prisoner to a few unsavory Somali pirates.  After watching her four man extraction team be virtually destroyed before her eyes, Alli finds herself inexplicably drawn to the team leader, Brogan Baker. But that part of her that would normally heel to a Dominant man’s been damaged, and she fears it may be permanent.

Eric Ryan, AKA Chaos, has only been with the team a few weeks when he realizes he's got a few problems on his hands. Not only is he replacing a dead man, he’s vying for control of a team whose current leader knows all his dirty little secrets. While he’d like to be topped by the man in charge he knows it’s probably impossible and Eric’s discovered something in him is attracted to the woman attached to Brogan's side every waking minute.

With their team in a constant state of change and under duress, Aaron finds himself struggling to accept the notion that he's worth being loved and unable to impress his soon to be grandfather -in-law.  Worse, he can’t shake the guilt that’s haunted him ever since the botched rescue in Somalia. But Aaron’s not the only one with problems. Gabe thought his life was under control until Ros reveals yet another secret, one he’s so distracted by he almost doesn’t survive the trip home from Somalia.  A secret Ros may not survive either.

Just when they thought they were strong enough to make it through anything, the Force Recon team is once again faced with enough to either make them or break them.
Excerpt:
“What the hell do you think you’re doing, Gunny?” Alli bit out. “Let me go.”
Denying her request, Brogan ran his hand over her now bared ass as if defining his territory. Oh hell no.
“I doubt you’re capable of giving me as much as I can take,” she snipped wiggling under his touch.  “But do your damnedest. I dare you.”
The hell with this shit. After several strokes of his rough palms over her sensitive flesh, Alli decided to go limp and let him try to appease her. He’d find out quickly enough she wasn’t that easily appeased and leave. There was no way she could get loose anyway. Alli was at his mercy until he decided to let her go. He finally tapped her, accomplishing nothing more than to irritate her further.
“Alli, do you want to go there or not?” Brogan asked in a commanding tone.
“Go where?” Alli pouted. “I’m sure I have absolutely no idea where it is you think I want to be.”
Tears welled up in Alli’s eyes. Hell yes she wanted to go there. Did she believe he could deliver her there? Not in the least. She needed to go deep and she doubted her ability to get there no matter who was doing the delivering right now.
“You don’t know me,” he said right before cracking her across the ass significantly harder than the first time.
The first strike had been little more than a bee sting. The second blow had Alli stifling a moan and when Brogan actually had the gall to touch her exposed pussy, she writhed under him in frustration.
“It’s not a want, you ass. It’s past that,” she whimpered.
Brogan struck her again before the heat blooming across her left cheek had time to dissipate and she caught her breath.
“What do you need, Alli?” he demanded.
“I need to not think, Sir,” she simpered, relenting to her innate instinct. “It won’t go away. I’m so tired.”
Alli wiggled, wishing he would either finish what he’d started or let her go before it became too frustrating. She knew she’d have to run twenty miles to get away from herself today if he left her in this condition.
“You’re so beautiful, babe,” Brogan whispered over her burning tissue.
Beautiful? Right. Where would he be later today when she needed to leave herself again? Where would he be tomorrow or the next day for that matter? But as he continued to swat her randomly until the swats all melded together and she couldn’t tell one from the other, Alli resigned herself to his ministrations. A few moments of peace were so much better than none at all and even if this was all she ever got from Brogan, she’d take it. Alli’s fingers curled into the carpet as a wave of flame shot out across her and she reached for something that seemed utterly unattainable.
Something was wrong with her. It should never be this hard. She almost begged Brogan, but was afraid he’d stop. Alli choked in frustration and hot silent tears streamed down her face. Where the hell had she gone?
“I can’t,” she whispered across Brogan’s leg. “I want to give it to you, but I can’t.” Alli pulled away with her breath hitching and slid to the floor. “I’m sorry, Sir. What the hell’s wrong with me?”
Alli let Brogan lift her up and carry her to her bed. When he’d pulled the cover up around her, he left.
