Mark your calendars for an Author Meet & Greet

The Clark Public Library is hosting an author meet & greet on Saturday, October 26 from 2-4 pm.

This relaxed, casual setting will offer readers, fans and book lovers alike time to meet and greet some of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania’s very own authors.

Grab a snack, a drink and chat all things books. Delve into the mind of an author who may just become a new favorite!

Authors range in all genres from YA to Adult.

This event is free to attend and open to the public. The authors will have signed books for sale so be sure to bring cash if you’d like to purchase one. Attendees will have a chance to win prize packs containing books and bookmarks.

Weekly Event: What are you reading?

I decided to do a weekly event called 'What are you reading?'. Here each week, we can discuss what we are reading or what's on our TBR pile, share any good authors/books with each other and maybe find a few new authors to enjoy.

This week, I am going to kick things off by letting y'all know on my new book of the week.

I started the fabulous fantasy series, Tarian Soul, by CL Wilson in her breathtaking (so far), Lord of the Fading Lands.

I swear I can not say enough over this. It's unique, engrossing and one I had to literally tear myself away from in order to go to bed last night! Here is the blurb of the first book:

The First Chapter in C. L. Wilson’s Breathtaking Epic Tale of Magic, Passion, and Destiny
Once he drove back the darkness. Once he loved with such passion his name was legend.
Once, driven wild with grief over the murder of his beloved, the majestic Fey King Rain Tairen Soul had laid waste to the world before vanishing into the Fading Lands. Now, a thousand years later, a new threat draws him back into the world—and a new love reawakens the heart he thought long-dead.

Ellysetta, a woodcarver’s daughter, calls to Rain in a way no other ever had. Mysterious and magical, her soul beckons him with a compelling, seductive song—and no matter the cost, the wildness in his blood will not be denied. as an ancient, familiar evil regains its strength, causing centuries-old alliances to crumble and threatening doom for Rain and his people . . .he must claim his truemate to embrace the destiny woven for them both in the mists of time.

There are five books all together and they are, in reading order:

1) Lord of the Fading Lands
2) Lady of Light & Shadows
3) King of Sword & Sky
4) Queen of Song & Souls
5) Crown of Crystal Flame

I got all five to review and I am eager to see what happens for the Tarian Souls, Fey and more.

I highly recommend this fantabulous new series to enjoy this winter. Find out more on CL Wilson, click HERE to go to her website.

So what are you reading this week?
