Winter Heat Anthology~Welcome CR Guiliano

Please give a warm welcome to Abbott from Unexpected Winter, part of Winter Heat by CR Guiliano today as we sit down and see what makes him tick.

Q: So tell us about yourself. What got you in the crosshairs for your author?
Honestly, I don’t know. All I wanted was to prove to myself that I could do something no one thought I could do and then, there she was, writing my adventure.

Q: What was it that drew you to your mate?
Pure, unadulterated lust…probably. Though I suspect, since I was destined to be Iluak’s mate, something much more, I don’t know, biological?

Q: A little naughty fun, where was the wildest place you seduced your partner(s)?
Ok, a snow cave in the middle of the arctic isn’t wild enough for you?

Q: Boxers, briefs or Commando on a man?
If I had my way? None of the above. It would nakedness all the time, but it’s cold here. Me? My boxer briefs, Iluak? He goes commando if he’s not in his furry stage.

Q: If your partner wants to seduce you, what's one sure fire trick he can play?
All it takes is him touching me. *blushes*

Q: What is the one place on your partner's body that you know will drive them wild-in and out of bed? This is going to sound weird, but Iluak kind of goes nuts if I run my tongue over his fangs. That’s the one for sure thing that will get me my way, not that I don’t get my way most of the time anyway. *winks*

Q: What was one of the most embarrassing thing your author did to you in Unexpected Winter?
She had me scooting across the floor after my backpack. Nothing is more humiliating to me than the fact that I can’t walk on two legs. I’m thinking the second most embarrassing thing is making me beg Iluak.

Q: Anything else you would like to add?
Nothing much, I guess. Maybe, Iluak and I would love to have you read our story. It’s probably the most interesting thing that’s ever happened to me. *grins*

Thank you Abbott for joining us on 'Meet the Character' day here at Dawn’s Reading Nook Blog. Please find Unexpected Winter, part of Winter Heat by CR Guiliano at self-published.

Blurb: Abbott Wilson couldn’t believe he’d finally made the trek into the Arctic, above the Arctic Circle, in the dead of winter. A dream come true, a challenge to himself that he finally mastered. What he hadn’t counted on was getting trapped and injured in a deep ravine and the masculine and gorgeous man that saved him.
But his rescuer was as quiet as he was beautiful. Abbott wanted to get to know Iluak but the closer he got, the more withdrawn the half Indian got. Iluak’s behavior was turning strange and Abbott wasn’t sure what to make of it. Then, Abbott pushed too hard and found himself in a waking nightmare. Or was he?

Excerpt: “You will be mine after this.”
Abbott nodded unconsciously, his focus on the hard cock slowly penetrating him. His pulse pounded in his ears and a light sheen of sweat broke out over his body. God, it felt so good to be filled again. He tried to push back to drive Iluak deeper, but the big man was too heavy and Abbott couldn’t shift him.
“Please…”
A shudder ran through Abbott from head to foot when Iluak was seated completely inside him. The large man didn’t start thrusting right away, but wrapped his arms around Abbott and turned them so that his bulk wasn’t crushing Abbott under him. The motion drove Iluak even deeper and Abbott cried out at the sensation. Somewhere in the back of Abbott’s mind, he realized Iluak had turned them so that his remaining leg was on top, Iluak’s large hand holding it up, keeping Abbott open and available to Iluak’s thrusts.
And thrust he did—hard.
The sensations were overwhelming, Abbott’s body responding like it never had before. He was rock hard, his body flushed and sweating, his heart beating so hard he was sure Iluak could hear it. He tried to rock into the big man, but Iluak held him too tightly, doing all the work. Abbott almost felt guilty. He arched as Iluak drove deeper still and moved his arms over his head so he could grab onto Iluak’s hair, twisting to be able to kiss the man. Iluak’s tongue speared into his mouth, taking possession just as he was taking possession of Abbott’s body. The thrill that traveled through Abbott’s veins brought that unusual tingling to a head, his body feeling as if it was on fire and making his balls tighten and ache to release.
“Iluak…close.” He rasped out against the large man’s lips. The confession caused Iluak to pull out of Abbott’s body and he cried out in protest. No, not now!! What had he done wrong? But his confusion and self-doubt quickly dissipated as Iluak turned him to his back and loomed over him.
“You are mine. Mine!”

Series Spotlight~Valley Love Series by CR Guiliano

Check out this wonderful series by author CR Guiliano...

Book 1: A Mechanic's Dream
Contemporary M/M

Kagen was resigned to being alone..and lonely. Until the day he met a man he couldn't get out of his mind. A man so out of his league, he was crazy to even think about it. But what if? Kagen knew he was no catch, per se. Short, thin and always considered nothing but a twink, he just knew no man would be interested in him for anything more than a good time...one time. Most people were shocked to know he was a certified auto mechanic with his own shop, not some flaming gay stripper...anymore. Then a gorgeous man with a broken car entered his shop. A broken Jaguar, no less. Tall, dark and handsome Croy was Kagen's every dream come true. But could he ever get the reserved man interested? Especially, since he was straight and had a bombshell female blond on his arm. And Kagen had emotional baggage…too much emotional baggage. Croy struggled with his sexuality…until a gorgeous dark haired man captured his attention…and his heart. And, suddenly, Croy was willing to give up all that he has and is to possess that man…and make his dreams come true.

Bailey Preston was heartbroken. The object of his desire was unattainable…again. He thought he finally had Croy Fischer within his grasp, until the gorgeous man’s true love came back into the picture.

Now, Bailey dealt with pain on a daily basis, working for Croy, but unable to have him. A second unrequited love…and Bailey was beginning to think he was just unlovable. The only other man he’d ever loved had disappeared from his life five years earlier. Dugan. Dugan Connery. A man who held a special place in Bailey’s heart despite knowing the man was terrified of commitment. A man who didn’t know Bailey existed. A straight man.

But Bailey wasn’t prepared for the return of Dugan when his angst over Croy was so fresh. He hadn’t even known the man was back in town until he ran into him by accident. And Dugan had changed. And Dugan was…gay.

Would Bailey be able to kindle an unrequited love he thought lost forever? Did he want to?
Two failed and bitter marriages later and Dugan finally realized he couldn’t hide from what he was. Couldn’t deny he had a high school sweetheart…that was a man. Not that Bailey knew that. And he’d had finally come to grips with his darker side. A side that required total and unequivocal commitment.

Now home, he wondered if the man he’d loved from a distance, would welcome him back. Especially once he found out what made Dugan tick.

Book 3: French for Love
Contemporary M/M

Jarred felt overwhelmed. He’d lost his job working for Kagan when that stalker had burned the shop down. Grateful though he was that Kagan had given him all the insurance money since Kagan’s husband, Croy was rich, it just wasn’t enough. Not with his mother being ill, and Jarred’s heavy class load. He was on his own, trying to juggle his mother’s care, his classes, finding a job or two and dealing with a large amount of emotional baggage. Then he met D’Arcy, the prettiest man Jarred had ever seen. And he was from France! Jarred was smitten from the beginning.

D’Arcy knew he would love America. He tried not to think about his visa running out and having to return to his parent’s estate where his preferences and freedom were compromised. Here, he could disappear. In America he could be himself and not have to worry about being in the public eye. His father, a diplomat and controlling man couldn’t tell D’Arcy what to do in the US. But his visa would run out, and now it was even worse because he had fallen for a beautiful American man. His timide l’un, his shy one needed him. D’Arcy didn’t want to leave Jarred.

Book 4: To Love or Not to Love
Contemporary M/M

Chester didn’t want to be attracted to Jersey. Not only was he a fellow employee of Croy’s, but he was much too young. But the temptation was driving Chester crazy. Enough that he was bringing home men more and more, and then feeling guilty when Jersey would give him that hurt, wounded look. What was he supposed to do? They boy was just too young for him.

Jersey was tired of the life he’d led. Being a rent boy for ten years was enough. He found himself a respectable job, working for Croy Fischer. But what he hadn’t expected was to be attracted to his immediate boss, Chester. But Chester was a player. Jersey’d had enough of players. But the more time he spent around the gorgeous blond, the more he wanted him, the more he cared. But Chester was off limits. He was his boss and he wasn’t interested in Jersey anyway.

Book 5: The Full Monty
Contemporary M/M

Benjamin “Bennie” Anderson knew deep down he was a submissive, but trying to explain that to his overprotective parents was more than he thought wise. He was just as glad they accepted his sexuality. Of course, that’s what made them so overprotective. That and what they thought was a gay bashing he’d taken outside a bar. A bar that specialized in BDSM. Bennie had made the mistake of going in without a collar. It hadn’t been a gay bashing that had injured him. It had been a mean, violent dominant that had bruised and broken Bennie. But still he craved to submit. Dreamed of finding a Dom worthy of his love, who would love him back.

When Dallin had found out what Darrin Brown had done to an un-collared sub in his club, Darrin had found out what a true Dom was. He wouldn’t be abusing any subs again, nor would he be welcomed in Dallin’s club. Dallin only hoped the young man would return, though he wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t. But Dallin’s luck held out and the sub that had enticed Darrin showed up. Battered and bruised and a cast on his arm, he was still here. Dallin had intended to apologize for the brutal treatment of Bennie at his establishment, but found himself drawn to the sub…in more ways than one.

Book 6: A Mind Made Up
Contemporary M/M

Grant Hitchcock was sure he’d never recover from the brutal attack on Kagen O’Connor that resulted in his own almost fatal injuries. He was grateful that the man had survived and found his true love. And jealous at the same time. He never abused Croy or Kagen of the notion he was straight, not when his wounds and scars were so extensive that he didn’t think he would ever find love. But a wonderful doctor gave Grant a second chance at life and he planned on taking it. The number of lovers he went through, both male and female was more than Grant wanted to admit when he was invited over to Croy’s and Kagen’s mansion. And it didn’t take long for a restless itch to start invading his fun whenever he saw Croy and Kagen together.
Detective Richardson tried his best to cull the growing attraction he had to the criminal-slash-victim Grant Hitchcock. Richardson didn’t even want to admit to being gay, or bi or whatever he was. Straight but curious? He really didn’t know. All he did know was the overwhelming instincts that flooded him the first time he met Grant. The instinct to protect, possess and claim. He’d never felt that way with any of his girlfriends. Maybe that was the problem. But he wasn’t sure Grant was the man for him if he was going to explore these brand new feelings. Besides, Grant was as straight as Richardson used to be. And Richardson had read the medical report over and above listening to Grant’s statement. Those were obstacles that Richardson wasn’t sure Grant would overcome, much less himself.
