"Falling for a man who you consider your enemy is not the romance I wanted or needed but one that will steal Brooklyn's heart when she least expect it."
My Rating for Kiss Me Forever: 5 Stars and Series Recommendation
When Reece Fox asks Brooklyn Montgomery for help, she can't help but help the man she finds irritating and considers her enemy. But there's something about him that has her wanting to know more, falling for him is a mistake but she can't help herself even after swearing off all men after losing her fiance. Reece Fox is a decade older than Brooklyn but she has something that has him drawn to her despite his best interest. Best laid plans laugh when the heart is involved and when life throws Reece a curveball he never anticipated, Brooklyn steps up against her misgivings but soon these two will find themselves letting love into their hearts and lives. But can that unexpected complication shatter everything growing between them in one snap of a finger?
Kiss Me Forever is one wild ride from start to finish and one I devoured completely in a matter of hours. Carrie Ann Ryan always delivers stories with heart and in this latest Montgomery Ink Legacy story, we see Brooklyn Montgomery pick up the pieces of her life and heart and find herself drawn to her enemy, Reece Fox, against her will. He growls at her, is a family friend and frankly one big pain in the butt. Reece & Brooklyn create sparks the first time they are on the pages and I was rooting for both right off the bat. These two protested way too much even as they tried to deny the sparks, that connection between them. One thing I can honestly say is WOW the heat these two generate is scorching. I was afraid my kindle was going to combust from all that sexual tension these two have. The characters are well written, complex and definitely well rounded, so much so I expected them to walk off the pages and into my living room.
Kiss Me Forever is a character rich story that will leave you breathless as you fall more in love with the Montgomery's and their friends. I love returning to this fascinating family again and can't wait for the next book to get there. In the meantime I think it's time to go back and catch up with the OG's of the Montgomery Ink Series this summer.
This is an Objective review and not an endorsement.
