Tell us about your latest book, who is the main
character(s) and what can we expect when we pick it up? Mase is the main character , he’s blind, and
he’s trying make his own way in the world.
Give us an out of context quote from your book to warm our
hearts:
Mase inhaled again. “Oh, you’re black,” he
said, and took another bite.
Ty stilled. “Is that a problem?” he asked,
his defenses rising.
Mase smiled and then began to laugh. “Of
course not. Everyone is black to me.” He set down his sandwich, waving his hand
in front of his face. “And for the record, I like the scent. It smells good.”
Ty was a little taken aback for a second
and then he found himself chuckling along with Mase. The guy had a real sense
of humor, and he liked that. There didn’t seem to be any prejudgment in him.
“I tend to judge people by different
standards, I guess.”
“Like what?” Ty asked.
“Like their
scent or their voice,”
