The Father of Dragons is waking and the Wild Hunt agency is about to fight their latest battle with a serial killer who is determined to cause as much pain and chaos as possible.

The Wild Hunt Agency is bracing for when Typhon, the father of dragons awakens and, in the meantime, their job has just become a lot harder. As Typhon’s allies and enemies come about, Herne and the gang find themselves with a case that will take them to the edge of anything they have dealt with before. For a serial killer has emerged and is targeting necromancers, physics and those dealing with the dead. Going undercover, Ember, Raven and others go undercover at an underground vampire club and find there is more the case than they anticipated especially when after their fact-finding mission ends, Raven turns up missing. Can the Wild Hunt find her before the Serial Killer claim their next victim with their friend?

SUN BROKEN is the continuation of story arc two that this author introduced in the past few books and man, this has got to be the best one yet in the series. The story just flows smoothly and drew me in right off the bat. The characters have continued to grow with each book, and I loved how we added some new ones into the mix that are so intriguing to me. I can’t wait to read more about them and see where they go in the whole big picture. This is an author who has never let me down as a reader with their books. They are pure entertainment and ones I will go read repeatedly as they are my comfort in times of stress and more.

In SUN BROKEN, the reader finds more about the coming danger in Typhon and who is aligned with him and who is against him and his allies. With this danger, The Wild Hunt Agency has a case dropped in their laps that will test everything and everyone in the group. This has got to be one of the toughest cases this agency has dealt with and I, for one, was on pins and needles flipping the pages to see where it would lead the gang as well as myself. Full of twists and turns, the author does an amazing job capturing the tension and action in spades throughout the book. The characters are so well written, I loved meeting some new ones plus finding out some new things about the core group itself as well.

SUN BROKEN does a marvelous job bridging into the next battle that the group and the world will be dealing with and the author does a marvelous job in tying it all together with hints and more through this pivotal book. After finishing SUNBROKEN, I am on pins and needles waiting for the next two books in the series that thankfully readers don’t have to wait long to get. If you enjoy action packed paranormal stories with a cast of characters that will charm you and intrigue you as well as storylines that will keep you glued to the pages, then try this author’s Wild Hunt series and dig in. I highly recommend reading from the first book, The Silver Stag as each book continues an overreaching storyline that continues in future books.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement
