Once Upon A Ghost is an anthology filled with unique short stories featuring intriguing pins on fairy tales featuring a ghost as the theme. I really enjoyed the anthology as a whole as each story was a unique twist on different fairy tales as well as some new authors I never read before that had me searching their back list titles for more of their books. Each story is entertaining, intriguing and definitely thrilling. I also enjoyed the author notes after the story was done to let the reader know why they chosen that particular fairy tale to explore and weave a story around.

I really enjoyed the following stories in the anthology:

What Tales Specters Tell by Kasey Mackenzie- A cruel necromancer finds out that a mother's love is more powerful than he can imagine.

Rapunzel Dreaming by Yasmine Galenorn- Rapunzel wants to live a quiet life, away from men and their obsession to possess her.

Faerie Song by Anthea Sharp- One courageous girl will have to find the strength to go against the powerful pipers as they rid the city of the vermin.

Haunted by Kay McSpadden- One golden haired girl will try to discover the secrets of the old haunted Bayer house.

A Hunter's Memory of Winter by Annie Bellet- A hunter will find her latest job involves more than killing a beast as the prey she is after is already dead.

These were standout stories that just captivated my interest and more with each page and I especially enjoyed the way the author used popular fairy tales and crafted them in a new way. All the stories in this anthology are unique in and of itself and I am eager to see where they go next in their next anthology.

If you enjoy uniquely crafted ghost stories that will chill and thrill you then take a look at Once Upon a Ghost and get ready for some reading adventures.

I was given an Advance Reader Copy as a gift from author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.
