Please
give a warm welcome to Seth from This Time, Forever by Ann
Jacobs today as we sit down and see what
makes him tick.
Q:
So tell us about yourself. What got you in the cross-hairs for your author?
I
was a competitive swimmer—not world-class but pretty damn good. Ann came up
with me years ago, while watching me compete in prep school with a couple of
her ever-so-good daughters, and she decided that sooner or later she’d write my
story. It took her a long time, because I’m now a divorced/widowed father of
another high school swimmer who’s about to rediscover the love that shouldn’t
have died during college but did, because of one stupid mistake I made.
Q:
What was it that drew you to your mate?
Merrie
was the sweetest girl I ever knew, before I screwed up and lost her our first
year in college. Now, fifteen years later, seeing her again by chance made me
realize the feelings between us never died—they just hibernated until the time
was right for us to do it right, this time.
Q:
A little naughty fun, where was the wildest place you seduced your partner(s)?
I
was a lot wilder at sixteen than I am now, trust me on this. When my allowance
wouldn’t stretch to cover a hotel room, I seduced Merrie late one chilly
moonlit night, on a deserted stretch of South Beach. Great sex, not-so-great
feeling of having sand all over your private parts!
Q:
Boxers, briefs or Commando on a man? Boxers.
Q: If your partner wants to seduce you, what's one sure fire trick they can do to seduce you?
Q: If your partner wants to seduce you, what's one sure fire trick they can do to seduce you?
All
she has to do is give me that “I need you” look, and I’m ready.
Q:
What is the one place on your partner's body that you know will drive them
wild-in and out of bed?
Merrie
gets incredibly hot when I nuzzle a ticklish spot on her throat. My author
decided our story would be PG, so I don’t dare tell you some of what we do once
we get to our real reunion. Better than I remember from before? Hell, yes,
we’ve both learned a little about sex since we were almost-virgins just
starting to learn.
Q:
What was one of the most embarrassing things your author did to you in This
Time, Forever?
She
had me get drunk after a college swim meet, have sex with the daughter of my
dad’s business partner—and get her pregnant. Hell, I never even liked the girl,
much less wanted a shotgun wedding! Mean author—but I forgive her since she
brought Merrie back to me even if it was years later.
Q:
Anything else you would like to add? Love’s sometimes stronger and so much
deeper, the second time around. We’ll be ecstatic, if only we can talk my
fourteen year old daughter into accepting Merrie! It’s time for us all to be a
family, This Time, Forever.

This Time Forever
Contemporary Romance
As teenagers, Seth and Marilee had been inseparable—until they went to separate colleges to pursue their dreams. Though they had planned to resume their relationship, fate intervened, and Seth’s betrayal ripped their love apart.
Fifteen years later, when they meet again, the sparks that brought them together are still alive and well. Seth, now a successful orthopedic surgeon, is now the sole parent to the fourteen-year old daughter whose conception ended his and Marilee’s teenage dreams. Marilee, a former Olympian and supermodel who has been widowed for nearly ten years, has returned to south Florida and is coaching prep school swimming, lured by the need to be closer to her family.
Can they go back? Or are old hurts too much to let her give him a chance to make amends, and bring their youthful dreams back to life? Yes, their love is very much alive, but they will have to battle his resentful daughter before they dare reach for happily ever after.
