A Day in the life of Carol Lynne
Well, I wake at around five in the morning and stumble into the bathroom to get dressed and retrieve my iPod. With my iPod securely tucked into my bra, I listen to my current audio book while I fix a cup of coffee, feed the cat, let the dog out and find my glasses.
Glasses in place, I open my laptop and check emails. If my brain is clear enough to answer, I’ll type out my replies, if not, I’ll wait another hour or so. I check Facebook next and usually end up on there for an hour or so while listening to my audio book.
Around eight, I start to write, answering emails when they come in. I’ve found if I put an email off, I get behind. I work until five or so, stop, figure out what the heck’s for dinner and feed my girls. My evenings are spent either writing or—if I have my word count for the day completed and I don’t have Stiff Rain Press or GRL stuff to do—I’ll reward myself with listening to my audio book while I play slots on the laptop.
I go to bed between nine and ten to listen some more. (Can you tell how addicted I am to audio? LOL) I usually fall asleep somewhere between midnight and one. Yep, I get very little sleep, which is why I jump at the chance to nap during the day when I can get it. I don’t nap long, maybe forty-five minutes to an hour but it’s usually enough to get me through the rest of my day.
Hmmm, I just realized I didn’t mention my girls. That could be because they come to me throughout the day, looking for hugs, kisses or money. I have one very important rule in my house. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you need.
When I write, I tend to immerse myself, and I’m not always good at paying attention to the world around me. I need my girls to understand that there’s nothing I won’t give them if they ask. Okay, that’s not exactly true. I don’t hand over money like an ATM, but I do share it when I have it to share. I have a twelve-year-old that likes to sit on my lap at least once a day. Often, she just comes in and lays on the floor. I know that she needs some mommy attention, so I put down my laptop, and get down on the floor with her.
My older daughter prefers to lay in bed with me and talk when she has a problem. It’s not always easy to read their subtle signs, so I try to make sure they know that they come first and always will. Writing is incredibly important to me, but nothing on this earth means more to me than my girls.
Blurb for Snake Charmer:
Sometimes it takes finding an opposite to show us the beauty within ourselves.

When security consultant and ex-mercenary, Gabrielo ‘Snake’ Barbas, thwarts an attack of one of his co-workers, Riley Banks, he takes it upon himself to keep the smaller man safe. His job is made harder when he discovers the attacker is actually Riley’s ex-boyfriend, a ruthless man from a very wealthy and powerful family.

After a night of passion, Snake decides to take Riley far away from Richmond, Virginia to a town in Wyoming for the annual Cattle Valley Days celebration. He should have known that sex with Riley wouldn’t be enough, but he feels he has nothing else to give such a nice guy. Riley is the sexiest man Snake’s ever taken to his bed despite Riley’s claim otherwise.

Riley knows he’s average-looking at best, so why does Snake continue to flatter him? It’s obvious he’s not going to kick Snake out of bed, even after Snake informs him that sex is all he has to give. Why does Snake see him so differently than the rest of the world?

While Riley is busy trying to figure out the man who touches him like no other has before, Snake is busy trying to protect him from a monster in a business suit.

Author Bio:

An avid reader for years, one day Carol Lynne decided to write her own brand of erotic romance. Carol juggles between being a full-time mother and a full-time writer. These days, you can usually find Carol either cleaning jelly out of the carpet or nestled in her favourite chair writing steamy love scenes.
