To get us started can you tell us a little about what you are working on or have coming out?

It’s an exciting early spring for me. I had two releases in February: “Bubbles and Troubles,” a paranormal MF erotic book set in Kentucky with loads of humor and surprises, and “Sand, Sin and Tequila,” a contemporary FFM erotica novella about a couple who seek (and find) another woman to share their bed while on vacation in Mexico. My Clandestine Classic release, “A Princess of Mars,” came out on March 4. It’s an erotic retelling of Edgar Rice Burroughs’s classic sci-fi tale – and yes, the lovemaking IS quite different on Mars. March 18 will see the release of “Learning to Soar,” a contemporary MF erotic romance that’s set in a nightclub. Turns out that a packed nightclub is the perfect setting for sex therapy sessions—who knew? I also have my first ever free read published this month. “At the Rainbow’s End” is set on St. Patrick’s day and features a rainbow, a leprechaun, and one very sexy pot of gold.

How would you describe yourself using only five words?

Optimistic, well-intentioned, distractible, trusting, family-centric

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Afternoon snoozes with my little dachshund, Scarlett, in the “nap bed” in my office. A Beefeater gin martini (or two…) on the weekends. Sites that make fun of celebrities’ fashion choices on the internet.

How do you get yourself in the mood to write?

If I’m not already there, I just make myself start putting words down. That usually works and my creativity starts flowing. If not, I do something else—laundry, cleaning, cooking—and then self-preservation kicks in. Writing is MUCH more fun than chores.

If someone hasn't read any of your work, what book would you recommend that they start with and why?

“Bubbles and Troubles” is a good place to begin. It’s the first of a series (I’m working on book two right now) and is a great mix of hot erotic scenes, wild paranormal elements, and goofy humor. “A Ghost on Two Wheels” is very dear to my heart. It’s hot, for sure, and also intensely emotional. Plus it features tattoos and motorcycles…

What is coming up from you in 2013? Anything you want to tease us with?

Tigers… I see tigers… “Curse of the Tiger” comes out on June 24. It’s my first shifter book, and it was a thrill to write. It’s set in Colorado at a fictional free-range tiger sanctuary. “Curse” has heart-pounding thrills, an evil witch, and, of course, scorching hot erotic scenes. I love the tagline: “She knew that being close to tigers was her destiny, but she never thought she’d be riding on top of one.”

I live in a teeny-tiny town in the southeastern United States, surrounded by rolling hills and lots of cows. My house is brimming with my rowdy sons, hot husband, and more pets than I can shake a stick at. When I close my eyes, though, I’m in a white stucco villa on the Mediterranean, sipping a martini and watching the turquoise waves crash at my feet. Next to my hot husband, naturally.

I love to read and write erotic romance, fantasy, and sci-fi because of the escape factor: I want to leave the ordinary and travel somewhere exotic, unusual, and sexually-charged in a book. My characters are thrust into unpredictable situations, and they respond with humor, open-mindedness, and loads of scorching passion.
