My Rating for Friends With Benefits: 3 Stars
Collin Harrison loves his
life but his mother is driving him nuts in trying to set him up with every
single woman she knows. But Collin is interested in someone else…his next door
friend, Devin. Confused by his feelings for the man, Collin thinks that he will
never get a chance to be with Devin but when Devin tells him he is interested
in a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship, Collin jumps at the chance to be
with Devin in and out of bed.
Jennifer Labelle writes a
story of two friends who have feelings for one another in a way that leaves you
breathless. With a few very wicked scenes that leave you fanning your face or
jumping into the shower to cool down, to a friendship that the reader feels
across the pages, Ms. Labelle delivers one sexy, wicked story that will surely
get your lust revved up. The writing was tight, story line flowed nicely and the
characters were nicely well-defined. Sometimes in these short stories, the
characters come across as flat and unappealing but not in Friends With Benefits. Ms. Labelle does a great job in creating two characters that jump
off the pages and into the room with you.
The story is a perfect quickie, if you need a reading fix and the perfect smexy tale to rev your engine up. Ms. LaBelle does a great job in packing the heat within the pages and giving the readers two characters who are definitely perfect for one another. If you are looking for an introduction into this
author’s writing style, you can’t go wrong in checking this short and sexy read
out.I enjoyed the story line and
hope this author comes back to Collin and Devin in the future in a longer tale.
I would love to know how these two made out and if Collin’s mother ever stopped
her meddling matchmaking.
