My Personal Review for Sex on a Hoof by Silvia Violet

I love the Protect and Serve series at Changeling Press. Hot, sexy novellas with a variety of different characters to entice any kind of reader. Author Silvia Violet's contribution is a spin-off to her hot Savage Wolf, a Protect and Serve story. This time, Jason Fleetfoot, a secondary character from Savage Wolf, gets his spotlight. And what a wonderful story this is. :)

Jason Fleetfoot has gotten his life back to normal. he got a new job at the local CSI Lab, courtesy of his sister's lover, Wolf, no one is trying to kill him lately and he has tried to stop taking risks. Then he meets vampire cop, Drew Danvers and all he can think of is what he is like without his clothes. Can a deer shifter find love with a vampire?

I absolutely adore Silvia Violet's books. They are fun, sexy and OH MY GOD..grab the fire extinguisher HAWT. In her latest installment in Changeling's multi-author Protect and Serve Series, Sex on a Hoof, follows Jason Fleetfoot, whom readers met in Savage Wolf, another of Silvia's stories in this wonderful series. I loved Jason in Savage Wolf and was thrilled to see he got his own story. The writing was tight, story moved smoothly and the numerous sex scenes enhanced the relationship between Jason and Drew instead of taking over the storyline. 

Jason Fleetfoot has finally gotten his life back, after his sister Natalie and her lover, Wolf, a local super cop, helped shut down the bad guys who held him. Now he helps fight the bad guys by working in the CSI crime lab and using his knowledge of chemistry to take them down. Lusting after vampire cop, Drew Danvers was not in his game plan but alas his libido decides otherwise whenever Drew comes into the lab. Let me tell you the sparks trhese two conjure up are so hot, I was amazed my computer screen didn't melt whenever they were on the pages. Ms. Violet does a great job in creating intriguing characters and the pairing of a deer shifter and vampire-wonderful and different. I am not even sure I ever read a pairing like that before. There were a few secondary characters that had me  intrigued and I am really hoping the author does a Protect and Serve story for them in the future.

Sex on a Hoof is delightful story that will leave you eager for more. Silvia Violet is a talented author who delivers another spectacular tale to devour. If you are looking for a short, hot MM story with vampires, shifters, a lust demon and more, then grab Sex on a Hoof and settle in for a wild ride. I can guarantee you will need either an ice bucket nearby or your significant other to help cool you off in the end.
