HOW TO BE REMEMBERED by Michael Thompson (Trade Paperback Original, $16.99, June 27) is a life-affirming meditation on the choices we make, how we impact others, and the
distances we will go for those we love. In the novel, The Midnight Library meets
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, combining a heartfelt coming-of-age tale, the blossoming of unconditional love,
and a poignant speculative touch to create a story that will resonate with
readers for years to come.
The Reset: it’s
the phenomenon that has kept Tommy Llewellyn from having a real life. You see,
every year on Tommy’s birthday, his existence is erased. His life becomes a
blank slate. Everyone he met that year simply forgets he ever existed.
So…Tommy grows up. He builds a new life each
year. He never lets himself imagine a future where he can make a lasting impact,
live a life worth remembering, or even win over Carey, the girl of his dreams.
Until he realizes
there may be a way to trick The Reset and control his destiny.
In HOW TO BE
REMEMBERED, readers will see themselves reflected in the characters’ very human
struggles and triumphs. But the novel is also a welcome escape from reality: a
fulfilling tale about a loveable protagonist and charming supporting characters
you can’t help but root for as they all persevere through seemingly hopeless
times to ultimately achieve rewarding, impactful lives.
