Character Spotlight with author Shiela Stewart

Please give a warm welcome to Mick Monroe from Conquer the Demon by Shiela Stewart today as we sit down and see what makes him tick.

Q: So tell us about yourself. What got you in the crosshairs for your author?

 My parents and grandparents were demons. My grandfather was once a fierce demon who worked for Satan collecting souls. He gave it all up for love.  He demanded Shiela write his story and so she did. My mother was a demon as well, taking over where my grandfather left off collecting souls. She’s a defiant one and took on Satan for love. She wanted Shiela to write her story so other woman would see that no one can control who you are and who you want. I know, this is starting to sound like another novel, but I’m getting to it. My mother got pregnant with me and this is where my story begins. I’m an aggressive man. I admit it. If I want something I don’t let anything stand in my way. I was a womanizer and being a rock star, I had the opportunity to have as many women as I wanted. Trust me, I had a lot of women. That changed the day a sexy cop arrested me for propositioning her. I told Shiela to write a new biography on me, but while she was doing that, I fell in love. I got her to toss the biography away and write my story instead. I’m not a man who takes no for an answer.

Q: What was it that drew you to your mate?

 Her tits. Okay, her red hair too. Laci has a killer bod, but when she takes her cop hat off and let her long red hair flow…damn!

Q: A little naughty fun, where was the wildest place you seduced your partner(s)? Actually, she seduced me to bed. Don’t get me wrong, I tried my damndest to get her to bed, but the woman was determined to kick me out of her life.  She’d got this kid, who is amazing, so while he was away at a friends she surprised me with seduction.  Woman’s got moves.

Q: Boxers, briefs or Commando on a man?

Mostly I go commando. Easier when I’m in a hurry to get it on.

Q: If your partner wants to seduce you, what's one sure fire trick they can do to seduce you?

 I’m a one woman man. I love when she wears slinky nighties. Red is my favorite color and when she lets her hair down, I’m lost. Oh, and her cops uniform. I can’t wait to rip that off of her and…is this PG?

Q: What is the one place on your partner's body that you know will drive them wild-in and out of bed?

Rubbing her feet. She’s on them for hours, so they really get some. I can massage them, then turn it to more gentle and seductive.

Q: What was one of the most embarrassing things your author did to you in ? Nothing. I don’t embarrass easily.

Q: Anything else you would like to add?

Yeah, I just want to add a few things. I’ll probably get hell for this because no one other than my family knows about this. I’m a demon, and a rocker. Both get a bad rap. People always think of demons as vicious, heartless ugly creatures. Have you seen my body? My hair. I’m a god.  I may have a temper, but I’d never use my powers on anyone. And being a rocker. Sure, I was once a typical bad boy, but my woman and her kid tamed me. I’m not ashamed to say that because without them, I’m pretty sure I would have taken full advantage of my powers. So for all those doubters, don’t judge a book by its cover, though the cover for Conquer is pretty hot. They used my bod. Things aren’t always what they seem on the outside. And one last thing. Don’t be afraid of change. I found love in a hot woman and her goofy son and because of them, I’m a new man.

About the author

Shiela Stewart is a paranormal suspense author with a writing history that stems back to her youth. Always a dreamer, wondering if her stories would ever reach an audience, she was finally published in 2006 and hasn’t stopped since. It is rare to find a stand-alone book as she prefers series stories. Her longest running series to date is her Darkness series which is a vampire romance.
Her joy for scary suspense is evident in each of her books. She has had several accomplishments including fighting for the top spot in rankings with author Stephany Myers, receiving glowing reviews as well as interviews on local television. 
When not writing, Shiela spends her time with the love of her life, William, and their children and grandchildren. She enjoys getting her hands dirty, working in her gardens and planting flowers. Her strong affection for animals is evident in the many cats, fish and birds she cares for.
