Welcome to the Wicked Lies Review tour stop...I want to thank Karina for letting me join in the fun. I do apologize for getting this up late....my internet went out this morning so I was unable to get this up earlier today.

My review for Wicked Lies, a Dark Mission Novella, Book seven in the series is below.

My Personal Book Review:

I got to admit, this was the first book in the Dark Mission series and by author Karina Cooper, I read and I have to say, this was one wild, rollicking good time of a story. It was a perfect afternoon steamy read to enjoy when the skies are gloomy, weather is miserable and all y ou feel like doing is relaxing with a cup of hot tea and a good book. The writing is tight, story flows at a nice even pace and the characters...oh my...these are the crown jewels in this book. Jonas and Danny are two people who shouldn't be together but just work. It is that whole opposites attract going on that hooked me right from the start. Jonas is eager to prove his mettle to the insurrection and when he meets Danny, well lets just say sparks fly and the reader is treated to two people who dance around their attraction even as their passions rise higher and higher. I haven't read any of the other books in this series and after reading this one, they are next on my book buying list.

Karina Cooper delivers one wonderful story to enjoy. From start to finish I was flipping the pages on the nook, seeing what happens next for Jonas and Danny. This is an author who knows the world she created and the characters populating it. The characters are the jewels of the story in my humble opinion. They are well written, believable and quite enjoyable as well. The reader will have a hard time putting this one down. I know because I was the same way. I kept shushing my honey for about an hour as I wanted...no, I needed...to finish the book. 

If you are looking for an introduction into Karina's Dark Mission books, this is a perfect story to enjoy and I can guarantee you will want the rest of the books after reading this one. I highly recommend it and can't wait to see what else this author has up her sleeve for her Dark Mission characters.
