My Personal Review for Where Azaleas Bloom by Sherryl Woods

Welcome to Serenity, South Carolina. A Place where you can find love, laughter, family and community with in the pages of this iconic series.

My rating for Where Azaleas Bloom: 5 Stars and a recommended read for entire series

Sherryl Woods delivers another highly emotional story that leaves the reader breathless. Packed with several of the past books main characters as well as a few lovable secondary characters, she gives the reader a story that is a fitting swan song to the Sweet Magnolias series. Ms. Woods is a masterful storyteller who can write about emotional issues with a sensitivity and understanding that has the reader reaching for another of her books when they finish one. She is that good, in my humble opinion.

In Where Azaleas Bloom, we finally see the entire Sweet Magnolias as well as the Senior Magnolias come together once again, this time for soon to be divorced Lynn Morrow who is dealing with her divorce, her soon to be ex not living up to his obligations to her or their two kids and banding together to give her the support and any help she may need in this stressful and trying time.

Mitch Franklin has always adored Lynn and knows that Lynn needs a friend, even as he falls for her all over again. But Lynn soon finds Mitch to be the man she needs even as she rebuffs his attempts to solve things for her. Standing on her own two feet is important to her and I was absolutely in love with Mitch before Chapter three. He is a good man and one who lets Lynn have the space she needs, the independence she craves while finding her way to stand tall while letting her know in his own way he was there if she needed him. That right there had me falling all the way into love with this character. Ms. Woods does a phenomenal job in creating multi-faceted characters, with all the flaws and vulnerabilities of humans that readers can't help but fall in love with.

Where Azaleas Bloom delivers a story that is more of two people falling in love, it's about friendship and family, love, laughter and tears and it's a story of one woman's road to a love that will heal her heart and soul. Ms. Woods delivers another knock out of the ball field and she does it in a way that will leave you wishing for more in the Sweet Magnolia series.
