Dawn's Reading Nook: My Personal Review for Legal Beagle by Cynthia Sax

I love the Protect & Serve series from Changeling Press. Multi-authors contribute to it and you get a wide variety of stories to choose from. One such story, Legal Beagle, got me all excited. Not just because the cover is so hot I wanted to know where I could find one of my own genetically enhanced Officers but the fact this was about a character from Badge Bunny, another of my favorite Protect & Serve stories, had me in a swoon.

Legal Beagle is about Officer Wright who we met in Badge Bunny briefly. Cynthia Sax delivers a short novella that will make your knees weak and looking at gavels with new eyes. :-P

Officer Wright is one bad ass man. A genetically enhanced human, he takes out the bad guys every day, loving every minute of it. When his partner takes a week off to bond with his bunny girlfriend, Officer Wright finds himself on guard duty for a sexy judge. Judge Sadie makes this officer of the law want to break every law in the land just to get under her robes. But with danger looming over Sadie’s judgment on a case, Officer Wright will find that his judge is more than a woman but a tough beagle shifter bent on delivering justice.

Legal Beagle is a fun, sexy romp that will leave you breathless and squirming in your seat. The sex is so hot I was afraid my computer screen was about to melt, the characters fairly brim with life and I seriously want to know where i can find my own officer to call my own. There is something about those sexy, alpha males that make my knees weak and my blood turning into liquid lust.

Officer Wright is one tough officer of the law and he meets his match in Judge Sadie. She is a beagle shifter and though she longs to play like her shifter form, she enjoys meting out justice as a human. These two are perfect for one another. Both side with justice yet they love to push the envelope in their relationship so to speak. You felt the sparks fly the minute these two come across the pages together and I was tickled to see Wright take charge of Sadie in a heartbeat. I also loved that Officer Drake from Badge Bunny popped in as well. Two hot alpha males...*Swoon*. Well a girl can dream.

This is an author who knows to let her characters have fun and enjoy themselves. Cynthia Sax is a talented author who delivers sexy stories to heat your days up. I can't wait to see what else this author conjures up in the future for her readers to enjoy.

If you enjoy a paranormal multi-author series filled with vampires, shifters and other creatures of the night that is so hot, the screen smokes the minute you open the e-book, then grab a Protect & Serve story and make sure you have a bucket of ice nearby to cool you down afterwards.
