Liwet love story
When Angels step in miracles happen.

Inventions
“Your turn,”
Jophiel said, wiggling his duel set of wings at his beloved Liwet.
“Nope, yours,”
she turned about, her luscious ivory-colored wings smacking his. Though
exceedingly tall, Liwet appeared delicate and wispy except for her facial
features. Her nose was hawkish and her pliable, fleshy lips had the shape of a
beak. The bird-like expression followed in the attractive arrangement of
feathers along her brow and cheeks.
Jophiel was just
as willowy with a light, short coat of tawny furry down. His features were
chiseled and sharp, whereas his wings were butterfly shaped and exceedingly
soft. They oft wrapped around Liwet in an engulfing hug. Their love was new and
wondrous, but their association was old. Jospiel, the Angel of Enlightenment,
was an arch-angel. He inspired humans to find the light within and encouraged
awareness of self whereas Liwet motivated mortals to have original ideas, to be
creative and unique. Liwet and Jophiel rarely worked apart, and then one day
they realized their love was more than just that of angel to angel or friend to
friend but lover to lover. Of course, they knew true intimacy would have them
fall from the heavens, but Liwet was the Angel of Invention, after all, and
there were many ways to show intimacy without the actual enacting of the
original bonding of ultimate ecstasy that damned Adam and Eve.
Now, they were
just being impish. They took turns grooming each other’s wings, which often led
to much stroking, stroking led to touching, touching to kissing and kissing to
licking and licking to pleasuring.
And Liwet always
came up with new ways to enhance that pleasure, but suddenly her jovial mood
evaporated. “Oh…”
Jopheil whipped
about, gathered her in his butterfly-embrace, sweeping her up from the ground.
Her lattice-like webbed feet cuddled against his strong feathers. “My love?”
“She is
hurting.”
“Who?”
“A mortal
charge. I must help.” She looked at Jophiel with trusting eyes, knowing he’d
understand. “I want her to realize her hope, share her talent, and explode with
joy. She always had challenges and met them. It is time for a miracle.”
“Be her
champion. Do what you must.”
“You will aid?”
“Always. With
honor I shall take your lead.”
Liwet smiled,
"My duty is split."
"How?"
"To her but
also to you."
"I'll be
with you forever and a day."
"Our time
is rarely different than that of the human domain. The Aether vacillates one dimension to the next. I've time for you now,
without missing her needs of me.”
“And I you.”
“So sayeth the
Angel of Invention.” And with that Liwet’s head disappeared, lowering herself
downward toward his zone of growing excitement.
