Tour Stop for Lexi Ryan's Accidental Sex Goddess & Contest

Accidental Sex Goddess by Lexi Ryan

Promotions director Reese Regan isn’t a sex goddess and doesn’t want to be. But the job of her dreams requires enrollment in the renowned Sex Goddess 101. To avoid a trip to the unemployment line, Reese must pass the program and become Chicago’s next seductress—or at least fake it convincingly. Her best friend, the ruggedly sexy contractor Ben Hawk, helps her “fake” her way through the program, and the heat between them flares. When trust is broken and secrets are revealed, it appears they’ve traded years-long friendship for temporary passion. Will faking something so important cost them their chance at something real?

Teaser Excerpt:

Ben stifled a grin. “Please tell me she’s making you burn your bras.” He signaled to the door with his thumb. “I think I have some lighter fluid at the house.”

“What? Of course she’s not.” She scowled. “Cripes. I hope not.”

Ben’s eyes dropped south for a second. “You know, bras are a sign of repression.”

She rolled her eyes. “Stop being a dork, and read the letter.”

Ben frowned. “You’re taking this program more seriously than I thought you would.”

Reese snorted. “No, I’ve just gotten really good at faking it.”

“The new outfit doesn’t look fake. Or the makeup.” He crossed his arms, realizing what had been bothering him since she walked in the door. “I thought you hated contacts. Where are your glasses?”
She waved a hand dismissively. “Just read it.”

Say goodbye to your panties. For the next week, you’ll be going commando, forcing your mind to acknowledge the parts of your body too often left as an afterthought.

He grunted. “No wonder my guys want their wives to sign up.”

“Spoken like a true male. Foregoing underwear isn’t sexy, it’s…it’s…unsanitary.”

He shook his head. “It’s sexy.”

“What if I’m doing yard work?”

“Sexy.”

She crossed her arms. “Or I’m working out?”

“Still sexy.”

Reese leaned forward. “Or want to wear a skirt?”

Ben narrowed his eyes. “Now you’re just tormenting me.”

I have got to get this book! I just love every excerpt I have read and have it on my must buy list (just trying to be good and read a couple from my huge TBR pile before I buy any more....but I don't think I can wait much longer).

June, I completely understand trying to make yourself read some of the books you have before buying more. I read all the time, but I still think I buy about 8 books for every 3 I read. ;) I'm thrilled that you're still hooked. Thanks for coming by today!

Emiliana, I'm so glad. :) Thanks for sharing it with your friend and for coming by today!

Good morning, everyone! Dawn, thanks for hosting my stop this morning and for sharing the excerpt.

I was up in the middle of the night with the baby (19 months) again last night, so I'm a little sluggish this morning. On one hand, I can't wait until she outgrows the need for 1am cuddles. On the other hand, there's something really sweet about rocking a baby in the middle of the night when nothing but sleep requires your attention. Do any of you have kids or nieces/nephews you helped with? How did/do you make it through the sleep deprived days?

I can remember many a night rocking my two bubs to sleep. Quite a while ago now. They do grow out of that need, but not the cuddles thankfully.

I've have a niece but I mostly helped with babysitting. The one I helped raise is the son of my cousin, he had him early and I was basicly a kid myself(10), but I usually had him a lot of time and woke up in the night to gave him a cuddle, though he was thankfully, usually a quite kid and was pretty easy to take care of.

Little kids are cute but they grow up so fast, I cannot believe my niece is alredy 13. Enjoy the cuddling time, pretty fast they are all grown up and it's uncool for Mom or Auntie to hug and cuddle with them. :)

While I have a lot of nieces, mostly I was the occasional babysitter and aunt, but the nightduty still was up to their parents. ^^

I hadn't had to get up in the night for my nieces and nephews, thankfully, they were all pretty cuddly in the daytime.

I wonder what her dream job that requires such a workshop. I would use to find my own sex godess too. It sounds like a fun story from the excerpt

Good evening, ladies! I'm sorry I ended up being away from the computer all day. Work was crazier than expected.

Mary--so good to hear they don't outgrow the need for cuddles. I certainly still need them, and there's nothing better than cuddles from my kids. :)

Ami--my oldest sister could commiserate with your experience. She was 11 when I was born and my crib was put into her room. She changed my diapers and rocked me at night as much as my mom. :) Your cousin was lucky to have you!

Lyra--thank you! I will! My oldest is five and the time *has* gone so fast! :)

Lana--You're so welcome! Thanks for coming by today! :)

Gala--The cuddles are nice, aren't they? :) Thanks for stopping by and reading the excerpt.

Shannon--Hi! She wants to work for the company that puts on the SG101 program. Gotta believe it to sell it! ;) Thanks for stopping by today.

Anas--No more sleep for me yet, but I'm hoping for a solid 8 tonight. Thank you for coming by today!
